If you’re trying to break 90, stop tracking only your final score.

Your score tells you what happened.

These 5 stats tell you why it happened:

🏌️ Penalty shots
⛳ Three-putts
🎯 Missed greens
🥴 Short-game mistakes
📈 Double bogeys or worse

Track them for your next 3–5 rounds and patterns will start showing up fast.

If you’re making 4 penalty shots a round, you don’t need a new putting stroke.

If you’re three-putting 5 times, hitting more drivers on the range probably isn’t the answer.

And if double bogeys keep destroying your card, start looking at the decisions and mistakes that created them.

Measure the problem. Find the biggest leak. Fix that first.

Save this carousel and use it during your next round.

FOUNDATIONS vs FUNDAMENTALS ⛳️

There’s a difference — and it matters.

Fundamentals are the technical pieces of the golf swing: grip, setup, clubface control, strike and the movement of the club.

But underneath all of that is your foundation: how your body moves.

Can you rotate?
Can you separate your upper and lower body?
Can you control your pelvis?
Can you load, stabilize and transfer force?

If your body doesn’t have the movement capacity required for the swing you’re trying to make, you’ll find another way to create it — usually through compensation.

Before endlessly changing someone’s technique, understand the athlete underneath the golf swing.

Build the movement. Then build the swing.

Save this if you’re working on your game and follow for more golf instruction, movement and performance content.

Want more rotational power in your golf swing? Don’t jump straight to the hardest variation — earn the progression.

These bucket toss variations build on each other:

1️⃣ Kneeling Bucket Toss
Learn to create speed through the upper body without relying on the legs.

2️⃣ ½ Kneeling Bucket Toss
Add hip stability and improve the connection between the lower and upper body.

3️⃣ Standing Bucket Toss
Bring the legs and ground into the movement while maintaining control through rotation.

4️⃣ Step Change Bucket Toss
Now make it explosive — adding a dynamic weight shift, sequencing and speed.

The goal isn’t just to rotate harder. It’s to produce force from the ground up and transfer it efficiently through the body.

Master each variation before progressing to the next.

Save this progression and add it to your golf fitness training. ⛳️💪

Stop practicing driver by mindlessly hitting balls into an open range.

Pick two targets and imagine they are the edges of your fairway. Then give every shot a purpose:

🏌️ Choose a clear starting line
🎯 Commit to your intended shot shape
✅ Count every ball that finishes inside the fairway
❌ Track every miss—and which side it finishes on

Hit 10 drives and record your score out of 10.

This turns random practice into performance practice. You’ll improve your accuracy, learn your dominant miss and feel more pressure on every swing.

If you want to break 90, don’t just practice hitting driver farther. Practice keeping it in play.

Still slicing your driver? 🏌️‍♂️

Before you start rebuilding your entire swing, understand what the clubface is doing at impact.

Two things have a huge influence on where that ball goes:

🎯 FACE CONTACT
Where you strike the ball on the clubface matters. With a driver, heel and toe strikes can significantly influence the curvature of the shot through gear effect.

🧭 FACE ANGLE
Your clubface angle at impact is the biggest influence on where the ball starts. If the face is open relative to your target, expect the ball to start farther right. Closed? Farther left.

But here’s the important part:

A slice isn’t just a “swing path problem.”

The relationship between clubface and swing path, combined with where you strike the face, determines the flight you’re actually going to see.

So instead of blindly trying to “swing more from the inside,” start measuring:

Where did I strike it?
Where did it start?
Which way did it curve?

Those three answers tell you a lot about what actually happened at impact.

If you’re trying to BREAK 90, understanding your miss is far more valuable than chasing a perfect-looking swing.

Most golfers don’t need more swing tips.

They need to know what is actually costing them shots.

The Break 90 – 90 Minute Evaluation is designed to find exactly that.

We don’t start by randomly changing your swing. We assess the complete golfer:

⛳ Your goals, tendencies and current scoring patterns
🏌️ Ball flight, strike and swing mechanics
💪 Mobility and movement limitations that may affect your swing
📊 Your biggest performance leaks
🎯 The priorities that will make the biggest difference to your score

Then we build a clear plan around YOUR game.

Because breaking 90 isn’t about building a perfect golf swing.

It’s about identifying where you’re losing shots, fixing the right problems and creating a game that holds up on the course.

Assess. Build. Score. Manage. Perform.

Skulling chips usually isn’t a “bad hands” problem — it’s a contact problem caused by poor setup and low-point control. ⛳️

In this lesson breakdown, we worked on creating a more predictable strike by:

✅ Improving setup
✅ Controlling where the club bottoms out
✅ Keeping the chest moving through impact
✅ Using the bounce instead of trying to scoop the ball up

The goal is simple: strike the ground in the right place and let the loft do the work.

If you’re constantly thinning chips across the green, stop trying to help the ball into the air.

Want to make your short game practice actually mean something? Play 21. ⛳️

The goal is simple: create different short-game shots around the green, try to get up and down, and record your score.

🎯 21 is the target.

Instead of mindlessly hitting chips from the same spot, this game forces you to:

✅ Hit different shots
✅ Control distance and trajectory
✅ Hole putts under pressure
✅ Track your performance
✅ Practice like you actually play

If you want to shoot lower scores, stop just practicing technique and start testing your short game.

Save this one and try to beat 21 next time you practice.

Your score around the greens often comes down to one decision before you even swing — club selection. ⛳️

Stop automatically reaching for your highest-lofted wedge.

Instead, ask yourself:

🏌️ How much green do I have to work with?
📍 Where does the ball need to land?
🎯 How much carry vs. roll do I want?
⚠️ What’s the lowest-risk shot available?

The goal isn’t to hit the most impressive shot — it’s to choose the shot that gives you the biggest margin for error and the best chance of getting up and down.

Better decisions. Simpler shots. Lower scores.
