📣 TEXAS SCTP IS OFFICIALLY MOVING TO SPORTSU

As announced during our 2026–2027 Statewide Coaches Meeting, Texas SCTP is transitioning away from GroupMe and moving to SportsU as our official real-time communication platform for statewide and league communications.

This change is about making communication across Texas SCTP faster, more organized, more reliable, and easier for our coaches and teams to access.

SportsU gives us several important advantages:

• Dedicated League Channels — Each Texas SCTP league now has its own SportsU group so coaches can communicate with State Advisors, tournament hosts, and other coaches within their league.

• Statewide Communications — Our Texas SCTP Statewide SportsU group will be used for important announcements, statewide information, reminders, and program updates.

• Real-Time Tournament Updates — Weather delays, lightning, range delays, equipment problems, schedule changes, tournament updates, and other time-sensitive information can now be communicated directly to everyone who needs it.

• Coach-to-Coach Communication — Coaches can communicate with others in their league and use private messaging when a conversation does not need to go to the entire group.

• Communication That Doesn't Disappear — SportsU preserves communication history, providing greater continuity and accountability. This is also one reason the platform is supported by a growing number of school districts.

COACHES — PLEASE JOIN TWO GROUPS

Every Texas SCTP coach should join:

1. The Texas SCTP Statewide Group
Join Code: 6EU5PE94

2. Your respective League Group

Northeast DFW League
Code: 5KDVEE45

Northwest DFW League
Code: ZU5GVUJZ

DFW South League
Code: Q54NPFRZ

Austin / San Antonio League
Code: W3WT2JZR

Houston Texas League
Code: C4NF35LD

Texas Panhandle League
Code: L85ADY6X

➡️ SportsU: https://sportsyou.com/home

IMPORTANT: Coaches are responsible for being connected to their league SportsU channel. During tournaments, this is where Texas SCTP and our event hosts will communicate important operational information such as weather, delays, range conditions, equipment issues, schedule changes, and other updates.

Our goal is simple: one connected statewide program, better communication, and fewer opportunities for important information to get missed.

Please get your coaching staff connected to SportsU now as we prepare for the 2026–2027 Texas SCTP season.

SportsU will serve as our primary real-time communication channel. SHOT and other official Texas SCTP resources will continue to control official registration information, event details, fees, schedules, and other published program requirements.
