When’s the last time you actually felt like you?
Not performing okay. Not managing. Just... here, in your body, present.
If it’s been a while, you’re not broken — you just got quiet for a while. That’s what this video is about.
The way back is smaller than you’d think: an altar space, a candle, a few minutes of breath. Real reverence doesn’t need a production.
Tell me below what’s your version of coming back to yourself? 👇

Plot twist: the hair wasn’t the wisdom. 😂✂️

I spent months growing my hair because I took a message from one of my journeys VERY literally.

Turns out I had taken guidance and quietly turned it into another rule about who I was supposed to be.

And there I was, looking in the mirror thinking…

But this doesn’t feel like ME.

There’s something wonderfully freeing about realizing that even our deepest insights get to be questioned.

Wisdom isn’t blindly following the message.

Sometimes wisdom is trusting yourself enough to say, “Wait… I think I got that one wrong.” 😆

So I grabbed my old hair shears, made myself some extremely questionable pigtails and started cutting.

And almost immediately…

There she is.

I feel more like myself again. 💙

⚠️ Important spiritual disclaimer: I was a hairdresser for 20 years. Please do not interpret this post as guidance from your higher self to grab the kitchen scissors. 😂

And even with 20 years of experience, I fully intend to have a professional clean this up.

What belief, rule or story have you realized doesn’t actually feel true for you anymore?

Inside the Forge this month, we’re exploring Presence.
Not as something to master.
Not as another thing to get right.
Just the practice of noticing when you’ve left the moment… and finding your way back.
Again and again.

What helps bring you back?

Turns out “doing the work” is considerably less adorable while you’re actually doing it. 😂

Today… a rollercoaster.

Tears. Heart opening. Gratitude. Big realizations. Questioning my entire life. Rehydrating because apparently crying is cardio now.

And one uncomfortable awareness about something I’ve done for most of my life: laugh when things get intense.

I LOVE to laugh. Joy and playfulness are deeply part of me.

So now I’m sitting with a much more interesting question:

When is my laughter an authentic expression of who I am… and when has it been a way of moving through discomfort?

No tidy answer yet.

Just awareness.

And maybe that’s enough for today.

Because sometimes becoming more fully ourselves begins by getting curious about the parts we assumed were simply “us.”

More to come when I’ve finished questioning my entire personality

Have you ever gotten to the end of the day and wondered where it went?

I’ve been asking myself that question a lot lately.

Some days feel so full that I move from one thing to the next without ever really arriving.

Then something simple catches my attention.

The smell of tea.

The sound of the wind.

A bird I would’ve missed if I’d kept walking.

And I remember…

Presence isn’t about slowing life down.

It’s about noticing the life that’s already here.

This month inside Soul Forge we’re exploring Presence together.

Not perfectly.

Just one breath.

One conversation.

One practice at a time.

✨ I’d love to hear from you…

When do you feel most present?

We’ve gotten pretty good at talking about what drains us.

Work.
Stress.
The news.
That one person who replies “K.” 😄

But how often do we stop and ask…

What genuinely brings me back to myself?

For me, it’s usually simple.

Feet in cold water.

Singing to a waterfall (yes… the waterfall gets a private concert 😄).

Humming.

Breathing.

Letting the Earth remind my body that I don’t have to hold everything on my own.

It’s less about escaping life…

and more about remembering I’m part of something bigger than my to-do list.

These moments don’t have to be big or complicated.

They just have to be yours.

So I’m curious… what helps you come back to yourself?

I’d love to hear what’s become medicine in your life. Share below

Is anyone else feeling personally attacked by summer’s to-do list? 😅

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that if the sun is shining, we should be doing… everything.

The hikes.
The concerts.
The paddle boards.
The road trips.
The backyard BBQs.
The farmers’ markets.

Meanwhile, your nervous system is quietly whispering,
“Can we maybe just sit in the garden for five minutes?”

Nature doesn’t rush to bloom all at once.

Each flower opens in its own time, rests when it needs to, and trusts the season.

Maybe that’s our invitation, too.

Summer isn’t asking you to fill every free moment.

It’s inviting you to find harmony with its fire.

Move when your energy is there.
Rest before you need to.
Leave a little space for wonder.

Because you don’t have to experience every moment of summer…

to fully enjoy the season.

What’s one thing you’re giving yourself permission not to do this summer?

Save this for the next time your calendar starts looking more crowded than your flower beds. And send it to a friend who could use a little less hustle and a little more sunshine.

A room becomes sacred the moment it’s filled with intention.

Last night, we welcomed our new healing space the same way we hope every person who enters it will be welcomed…

With presence.
With prayer.
With community.

Together, we created a despacho, a traditional offering woven with gratitude, blessings, and intentions for this land, our loved ones, the community we’re building, and every soul who will one day step into this space.

Before offering it to the fire, each of us added our own prayer.

Not to ask for more…

But to give thanks.

To live in reciprocity with the Earth that holds us.

To remember that healing has always been something we create together.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude for everyone who came to share in our First Fire. You helped anchor something beautiful that will continue to grow long after the flames have settled.

🔥 Monthly community gatherings are coming soon, and we can’t wait to welcome you into this circle.

If this stirred something in you, leave a ❤️ or a 🔥 below so we know you’re here. We’d love to gather with you around a future fire.
