Thank you to everyone who has reached out and checked in on our team following the recent flooding near Phantom Ranch. Your care and support mean so much to the CRATE family.
We did not have any trips on the water during the flooding. Our final scheduled trip of the season remains on track as planned. If you have an upcoming reservation or any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact our office directly.
The canyon is a close-knit community, and our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to those who lost their lives, the individuals who remain missing, and their loved ones. We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the National Park Service rangers and search and rescue teams for their relentless efforts, evacuations, and dedication.
There are mornings you don’t forget. 🏔️
You unzip your tent and step out to blue sky, enormous mountains, orange tents scattered along the riverbank, and rafts floating quietly at the water’s edge. The guides have the fire going 🔥, coffee is brewing ☕, and breakfast is on the way.
For a few minutes, you just stand there and take it all in.
No traffic. No schedules. No distractions. Just the Tatshenshini River and a wilderness so big it makes everything else feel a long way away.
