We’re excited to announce Coach Kekau Arakaki as the Head Coach of the Utah Falconz! 🦅

Coach Kekau first joined the Falconz in 2019, and over the years, he’s become an important part of our organization and our Falconz family. With 27 years of coaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and leadership to the field, but more than anything, he brings a genuine love for this team and the people who make it what it is.

We’re grateful to have someone who knows this team, believes in these athletes, and carries so much heart for the Falconz leading us into what’s next.

Coach Kekau, we’re excited to have you at the helm. We know how much this team means to you, and we can’t wait to see where you take us.💙

Thank You, Coach Rick 💙

Some seasons are defined by what happens on the field. Others are defined by the people who step up when they’re needed most. After the passing of Coach Cecil Chang, Rick Rasmussen came out of retirement to answer the call and serve as the interim head coach of the Utah Falconz for the 2026 season.

He stepped in during an incredibly difficult time for our organization and helped guide this team forward with the experience, leadership, and heart that have meant so much to the Falconz over the years. Under his leadership, the Falconz returned to the playoffs, and Rick was honored as the 2026 WNFC Coach of the Year, a recognition that speaks to the impact he made this season.

As we turn the page toward the 2027 season, we do so with immense gratitude for Rick and the season he gave to the Falconz.

Rick, thank you for coming out of retirement when we needed you most. Thank you for stepping up, taking the reins, and giving this team one more season. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have given to the Utah Falconz and the women who wear this jersey.
