Team UGA took the home the hardware, winning the annual Goddard Cup trophy over Team PGA today at TalonsCove GC.
Congrats to (LR) Jane Olson, Rachel Lillywhite, Sunbin Seo, Whitney Banz, Ashley Lam & Faith Vui. Leaderboards in the foursome, four-ball and singles matches are available on UGA.org.

The Goddard Cup is named after Jeannie Goddard, an avid golfer known as the “Godmother of Utah Golf.” She served as President of the Utah State Women’s Golf Assoc. and long-time volunteer director, asst. director and director of the Sr. PGA Tour event in Park City. She was a recipient of the UGA’s exclusive Gold Club Award and the USWGA Woman of the Year in 2000. In 2020 Goddard was inducted into the Utah Golf Hall of Fame.

U.S Amateur Update per Kurt Kragthorpe: Drake Harvey, Tyson Shelley, Boston Bracken, Bowen Mauss and Sergio Jimenez advance to match play round of 64. Gabriel Palacios and Kihei Akina in Wednesday morning's playoff in Philadelphia.

“It was an absolute grind. Oh my gosh, it was looking so rough after the bogey on 10. My coach [Spencer Dunaway] just told me I've got to stay in it. I knew if I parred out, I'd probably be fine, but I didn't want to just par out and shoot 4 over. I made a couple birdies coming in and finally hit a couple of good putts.
