Salt Lake Lady Rebels

Vegas Round 1!! NIKE Tournament of Champions was an a weeklong grind and our Lady Rebels came to play. All 3 groups did a great job of responding to the test, moving up a division and showed well for college coaches all week!

This was 14U’s first NCAA live event and their biggest test since the MADE HOOPS Winter Circuit. Playing teams from across the country gave them a true understanding to the different styles of the game and how DEFENSE always travels.

16U came out firing, just like they have all summer! The group is relentless in transition and will pick you up 94 feet all day. Excited to watch this group develop over the High School season and come terrorize the courts again next Summer Season!

17U Flight understood the assignment and despite missing 3 key players, who were abroad being amazing humans and doing humanitarian projects. They still came to Hoop and put on a display of skill, grit and teamwork for all coaches who came to watch them and continue the recruiting process for these amazing girls.

Las Vegas Round 2 was a Blast! Great team basketball, solid competition and enjoying our seniors for one last travel tourney 🫶🏽. Plenty of laughs and memories with our Lady Rebels Village. Our Rebels came to play all weekend and all 3 teams were battling for Championships 🏆🏀 on Sunday Bigfoot Hoops | Tournaments.

17U Flight (4-1) played great basketball all weekend took 🥈to a solid Vegas Reign team who always shoots the light out and a fun program to play against. 16U Black (3-2) took🥈versus a tough Three Peaks (MT) team. Lastly was our Rebel babies 14U (3-2) Flight played tough and lost in the 15U semifinals to New Zealand Storm who was a fun battle on the court! Injury bug bit them again, but that group of players have been nothing but positive and resilient with every challenge they meet.

Parents, families and fans, thanks for entrusting your girls to us this Summer Season 🏀☀️. All these girls have built amazing friendships that will be fun to watch as they compete against each other this upcoming HS Season.

Coaches, thanks to BJ Backus Drisdom Skills Academy Inc. J.d. Archuleta for your help all weekend, continued support and pushing these girls to always just move on to the next play and FAIL FORWARD. “Let’s just play hard and see what happens.”

Extremely proud to watch one of our Day 1’s commit to Vermont State University!! Niella is an amazing athlete and an even better young woman! Over the last 5 years it has been a blessing to watch you continue to grow and develop on and off the court. Your presence and laughs will be missed in the team van this summer ha.
