We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering individuals through learning. Volunteers earn a free bike, lights, lock, and helmet while gaining maintenance skills.
We also refurbish and sell affordable bikes, promoting sustainability & reducing landfill waste. A Non-Profit Community Bicycle Center. We empower individuals to perform their own bike maintenance and repairs, and also offer an Earn a Bike program.

Thanks to amazing volunteers our bike and wheel inventory is more organized than ever. 💛 Everyone has a gift and we appreciate those who keep showing up and sharing theirs. It takes a village.

We had fun with Parks & Rec campers last week - learning bike handling skills, mechanical skills, traffic safety - with some learning to ride on two wheels for the first time - and ALL getting a new helmet thanks to Transportation Department.
Parents - remember, NC law states that youth under 16 are required to wear a helmet when riding a bike! Protect those young minds! 🧠

Summer = bike riding! We enjoyed the opportunity to share cycling fun with families at at last night's Popsicle Social. Thanks to this group of rockstars for making it happen - Fun was had! 😎🚲💛☀️

🏫🕺School is out! There will be an increase of kids and adults on bikes, scooters, or walking to the park. While we are always happy to see kids outside instead of in front of a TV all day, everyone needs to remember to be safe.
🚗 Drivers put down your phones, stay alert and slow down in our neighborhoods.
🛴 Parents make sure your children use proper safety gear and know to use proper pathways as well as stop & look at intersections.
Remember even look both ways at a one way!
