As we close out the 2026 season I will say that I am very proud of this young man. He has definitely improved as a racer and an individual. We started this season struggling to make decent competitive lap times but with the help of Dan Schlosser and Tristen Altman at PKC for the new Coyote chassis, and Gary Lawson for the solid power unit we were able to run with the pack. So much so that we were able to finish 9th in points! A far cry from where we were last year. As much as I have always said it’s the driver, good equipment helps too.

Today’s final we started 17th and were involved in an incident just after the start. Nolan refused to settle for falling to 19th. He drove it like he stole it from that point on. Working his way up to 12th and turning lap times that mirrored the leaders gaining the ground back up he lost.

Today is The final round for the season. Round 10 is finally here! It’s been a long up and down season but a good at that. We’re hoping to maintain our top 10 point spot as we go up against great competitors. We’ll keep you updated as the day progresses.

Yesterday was one of the best days we’ve had at the track all season. Qualified decent. Pre-final placed 11. Now on to the final 🤦‍♂️. Started P11 with a few slower karts in front of us. Nolan was able to pick up a few positions on the start and was running 8th when he has just a little more speed than the track could hold coming out of turn 7. Fortunately after falling to last by his own hand, Nolan wasn’t going to settle for last and drove like a monster. Making up time and being able to get some spots back and finished P15. Very proud of his determination and drive.

Nolan had a good qualifying session and is starting in row 6. Hopefully we can move up quickly and set ourselves up for a great final!

Frustration doesn’t even begin to describe this weekend. Of the 7 sessions, (finals on Sunday were cancelled due to weather) Nolan was wrecked in 4 of them by the same person. Tore up the kart the last time causing unnecessary repairs. Said person who has never raced at this track was using Nolan as a brake and lean-on into the turns. Nolan was dive bombed numerous times. When speaking to the person in the pits to see what the issue was, they made it clear that they were not there for points but “just to try a different track.” Well unfortunately we are there for points and because of their lack of knowledge and refusal to stay behind everyone and out of the way, it has cost us this weekend. Nolan did a fantastic job keeping out of trouble but it kept finding him. We are still top 10 in points but barely. With that being said, I understand going to new tracks to shake things up a bit is beneficial to the driver. But you should have the decency to move out of the way when you don’t know what you’re doing. Following them is the best way to learn the track. But we will learn from this and race the last two rounds with our elbows out a little farther. Good weekend overall.
