Reel lucky fishing charters

Go big or go home ! The fish in the first picture taped out at 261.3 lbs . Thats a Florida state record if we had a kill tag . Sometimes its not what you know but who who you know ! I fished with some repeat clients offshore this past week . After the trip Matt my client said catching a Tarpon was bucket list for him .
Im great at both offshore and inshore fishing but I also know that if your going to do a bucket list Tarpon trip Boca Grande is the place to do it . So I picked up my phone and reached out the Captain Dave Markett . Luckily he had availability for the next morning and the trip was on . For 6 hours straight we stayed hooked up . The first fish of our day taped out at 190 lbs Matt's girlfriend who only weighs 90 lbs caught that one .
His mom also caught a respectable fish that was in the 150lb range . In all we got to face grab 6 fish ranging from 150lbs to Matt's 261 pound bucket list fish , a real bucket list fish for sure ! We also had others on that we didnt get to put our hands on . They either straighted a hook or well just got away . You dont always get that face grab on a Tarpon. Every drift we got bites Dave is definitely dialed in !

Goodbye 2025 !

Did a trip yesterday for a article in magazine about . We caught about 25 by 9.30am including a 8lb 25 inch fork length fish i got and 3 others that were in the 5lb range .

6hr dinner and a show trip did not disappoint for these clients first ever trip .
