I love to forage Yarrow 🌿
She’s a survivor of a plant.
She feels like one of those plants you have to actually look for. She doesn't show herself too easily.
I’ll often find her tucked in among a sea of Queen Anne’s lace.
Once you know what you’re looking for, you start noticing those little differences.
Foraging is about getting to know the plant.
Where she grows.
What she looks like at different stages.
How to recognize her among the lookalikes.
When she’s ready to harvest.
And let's talk about her beautiful aroma!
Wild Yarrow smells NOTHING like the Yarrow you buy dried in a bag.
There’s something almost impossible to describe about it...
Slightly sweet.
Astringent.
Herbal.
Green.
A little sharp, a little floral, almost medicinal, but still very beautiful.
The scent also varies, depending on where she grew up 🩷
The best smelling yarrow I have ever found was at Enchanted Rock in Texas.
I’m telling you, two years later, and you could still smell those flowers!!
I'm excited to be headed back in a few weeks!
Yarrow has a long history of herbal use.
I use her in my yoni steams, and she has traditionally been used to support healthy menstrual cycles, digestion, circulation, and the body’s natural response to inflammation.
She’s also traditionally known to be used for wounds and minor bleeding.
Spiritually..
She’s a plant of boundaries.
Yarrow has long been associated with protection and creating a stronger energetic boundary between yourself and everything around you.
For those of us who are highly sensitive to the energy of people and places, Yarrow is one of the plants I think of as an energetic shield 🤍
She can be used in ritual baths as well.
Yarrow baths have been used to heighten intuition, psychic awareness, clairvoyance, and our sensitivity to the unseen.
Call it psychic ability.
Call it extrasensory perception.
Call it intuition.
Whatever language you use for it, Yarrow has a long relationship with that side of plant work.
That's what makes her one of my favorite plants.
A plant that can be worked with physically, medicinally, ritually, and energetically 🌿
Currently in stock is Yarrow I've foraged from my reservation in Petoskey MI.
Find me behind the purple door at 615 27th Street South in the Warehouse Arts District of St Pete 💜

St. John’s Wort, Wildcrafted in Pisgah National Forest 🌿☀️
This beautiful golden herb has been used in traditional herbalism for centuries and is best known as an herb associated with supporting mood, emotional wellbeing, and the nervous system.
The St. John’s Wort I have in stock was personally gathered by me, from the Pisgah National Forest in the mountains of North Carolina.
Traditionally, St. John’s Wort has been used to support:
☀️ Low mood and emotional heaviness
☀️ Mild to moderate depressive symptoms
☀️ Nervous tension and emotional overwhelm
☀️ Menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes
☀️ Overall nervous system and emotional support
Spiritually, St. John’s Wort is considered an herb of the sun.
It is associated with bringing light into dark places, strengthening the spirit, lifting heavy energy, and offering protection.
Traditionally, it has been used in spiritual practices for protection against unwanted energies, nightmares, melancholy, and influences that leave us feeling drained or disconnected from ourselves.
It is a beautiful herb for those who feel as though they need a little more light, warmth, resilience, and emotional support in their lives 🌼
IMPORTANT: St. John’s Wort is a powerful herb and is NOT one to casually combine with medications.
- Do not take St. John’s Wort with antidepressants or other medications that affect serotonin. Combining them can cause serious serotonin related side effects..
- St. John’s Wort can also reduce the effectiveness of many medications, including birth control, blood thinners such as warfarin, certain heart medications, some seizure medications, transplant medications, HIV medications, and some cancer medications.
It can also increase sensitivity to sunlight.
Basically..
If you're on any kind of prescription drug, please just check in w your healthcare provider firsr.
This is one of the herbs with the greatest potential for drug interactions.
St. John’s Wort may be right for you if you are looking for traditional herbal support for emotional wellbeing and nervous system balance and are not taking medications that interact with it.
It may be especially appealing if you have been feeling emotionally heavy, mentally worn down, overwhelmed, or simply disconnected from your usual sense of joy and vitality.
Maybe you feel like you have been carrying too much for too long, or like you could use a little more warmth and light in your life.
This is an herb for those who feel drawn to reconnect with their own inner resilience.
For those who want to support a calmer nervous system, a brighter emotional landscape, and a greater sense of balance.
As always, herbs are powerful allies, and finding the right herb means considering the whole person 🌿☀️

There is something powerful about coming back to the breath 🩷
Breathwork is a simple but powerful practice that uses intentional breathing to help quiet the mind, release stress and tension, reconnect with the body, and create space for whatever we’ve been carrying. It can be a beautiful way to slow down, get grounded, and shift out of the noise of everyday life.
We’ll be gathering at 13 Moons Alchemy for an evening of guided breathwork, followed by a sound experience with Bob Ives featuring singing bowls, Peruvian flute and Reiki drumming.
A little time to breathe, listen, release, and reconnect.
Come as you are, get comfortable, and give yourself permission to slow down for a while.
Details are on the flyer 🌙
Step into an evening of deep healing, connection, and energetic transformation through the powerful combination of guided breathwork and Reiki drumming.
This experience blends the profound inner journey of breathwork with the grounding and clearing vibrations of sacred close body, Reiki drumming, creating a container where the body can release tension, the mind can quiet, and the spirit can reconnect with its natural state of peace.
✨ What to Expect
Breathwork is a potent and powerful healing modality. Through conscious breathing, many people experience profound emotional and energetic shifts.
Breathwork can:
• Release stress and anxiety
• Help process grief and stored emotions
• Improve sleep and relaxation
• Act as a natural analgesic
• Open access to higher states of consciousness
• Quiet the mind and shift mental patterns
• Allow you to experience deep peace and clarity
During this journey:
Garre will first guide you through a relaxing meditation designed to bring awareness to your breath and body.
Participants will then move into approximately 30 minutes of guided breathwork, allowing the breath to open energetic pathways and support emotional and nervous system release.
As the breathwork unfolds, Bob will support the journey with Reiki drumming, helping to move and clear energy from the body while grounding the experience through sacred rhythm.
The evening will close with a guided visualization and an optional sharing circle for those who wish to reflect on their experience. This exp

A little piece of my rez lands 🌿
These beautiful sumac berries and juniper berries were wild foraged by me while exploring the land around Petoskey, Michigan 💚
🌿 SUMAC BERRIES
Bright, tart, and naturally rich in antioxidants, sumac has long been used traditionally as a food, tea, and herbal preparation.
It has a wonderfully lemony flavor and can be used to make a refreshing sumac tea or added to culinary creations.
🌿 JUNIPER BERRIES
Juniper is one of those ancient plants with a history that stretches across many cultures and generations. Its berries are intensely aromatic, resinous, and earthy, with a sharp, piney character.
Traditionally, Juniper berries have been used in herbal preparations, teas, infused oils, culinary blends, and ceremonial practices.
They are also valued for their cleansing and purifying qualities, both physically and energetically.
Juniper has a long association with protection and purification, and its aromatic leaves, and berries have been burned, infused, or carried as part of traditional Indigenous practices
Nacho average bulk bin herbs!!
These were gathered by hand from my ancestral land in Petoskey, Michigan, brought home, carefully dried, and prepared for the apothecary.
