⚾☀️ BOSS: Boys of Summer Swelter ☀️⚾

After two great summer workouts, we’re excited to open BOSS to a few more players!

BOSS (Boys of Summer Swelter) is a casual summer baseball workout series for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys who love baseball and want to continue developing their skills during the summer months.

Led by Coach Braden, a longtime assistant coach with Hit The Mitt Youth Baseball Academy and lifelong baseball player, workouts focus on:

⚾ Hitting & Fielding Drills
⚾ Throwing & Defensive Work
⚾ Baseball IQ & Situational Play
⚾ Friendly Competitions & Challenges
⚾ Building Confidence & Having Fun

Our first two sessions have been a blast, with players getting plenty of reps, individualized instruction, and opportunities to compete while having fun.

When we started Hit The Mitt, we made a Tik Tok and asked several players and new assistant coaches to come help us make this video on a wet, dirty baseball field in Shore Acres. In the middle of a tropical storm with about 30 minutes to film and an influencer who was getting on a plane to London in 2 hours, Luke L. and a couple other founding coaches showed up for our kids and my new business. This is how Luke rolls- excellence on and off the field and commitment to community. Congratulations Luke on your graduation and all of your success so far.
