8/24-As of 5pm all games are still playing. There is rain in the area and we will update as needed.

It might have taken an extra day and a couple of alternative venues but the 2026 SPAA Middle School Tournament has come to a close.

51 Teams, 93 games, hundreds of runs scored, and thousands of pitches thrown in six days and we wouldn't have it any other way! Well, maybe with a little less rain and a little cooler temperatures...

Thank you to every player who participated and every family or friend that came to watch. Congratulations to everyone for giving it their all on the field.

Other than contending with some things that were truly out of our control, thank you for everyone's willingness to adapt to the changes so we could get every game of the tournament in.

And finally, a special thanks to Game 7 Baseball and the St. Charles Parks & Recreation Department for accommodating our last minute requests for field usage yesterday and today. Without their willingness to assist, we most likely would not have been able to complete every game on our schedule.

We hope to see this year's 6th and 7th grade teams back for another tournament next year and good luck to our 8th grade players as they move on to high school.

Teams with games remaining in the 2026 SPAA Middle School Tournament:

Coaches were just sent an email with details about the plan for playing remaining games.

All games that were suspended or cancelled at Warrenton Athletic Complex last night have now been rescheduled for tonight at Wappelhorst Park beginning at 6 PM.

Additionally, the 6th grade silver consolation game has been moved from Woodlands Sports Park to Wappelhorst Park as well. All other silver bracket games for 6th and 7th grade remain at Woodlands Sports Park and, as of now, will be played as scheduled beginning at 5:30 PM.

Brackets have been updated once again.

Our apologies for the delay in communication. The table at the top of the silver brackets for 6th and 7th grade has been updated. We will be working on updating the lower portion of the brackets but this will at least give you the game time information.

Unfortunately the only way we could get it in did force us to make the difficult decision to schedule a consolation game for the bottom two seeds of both brackets.

Those should be annotated in that same table.

BRACKETS ARE UPDATED FOR 8TH GRADE GOLD AND SILVER AS WELL AS 7TH GRADE GOLD AND 6TH GRADE GOLD BRACKETS

We are moving all remaining gold bracket games and 8th grade silver bracket games to Warrenton Athletic Complex today.

6th and 7th grade will begin play at 1 PM or as close to start as possible once teams and fields are ready.

8th grade will not begin before 4 PM.

Please express the following to your families:

1. We are guests and Game7 has been gracious enough to help us at the last minute. Be respectful of the park.

2. NO GUM, NO SEEDS, AND NO ALCOHOL IN THE PARK. NO METAL CLEATS.

3. There will be limited concessions available (beverages and packaged snacks). Families should bring enough food and drink for their games. AGAIN, NO ALCOHOL

Please dispose of your trash and help keep the facility clean.

We are planning to play silver bracket games at Woodlands tomorrow night.

9 AM UPDATE FOR 2026 MIDDLE SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

It is currently raining at Woodlands Sports Park.

No games will begin at 11 AM.

WEATHER DELAY FOR 2026 MIDDLE SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

All bracket play games are delayed this morning due to current field conditions.

No games will start before 11 AM.

Schedule will be updated by 9 AM.

Seeding for 6th and 7th grade divisions is complete and final.

Brackets have been updated with teams.

If you are in 6th grade or 8th grade division and anticipated playing on field 23 or 25, please pay attention as those field assignments have changed.

6:30 AM Field Update: All fields will play as scheduled. Fields did get a small amount of rain this morning but has not impacted playability.

8/14 All games for the SPAA Middle School Tournament will be played as scheduled on all Woodlands fields.
