Members of the 2026-27 Young Dance Company enjoyed a long weekend of camping, dance-making, team-building and performing as part of a three-day residency at Franconia Sculpture Park . What an amazing way to kick off the season!
The Young Dance Company is a group of passionate dancers committed to exploring themselves and their world through dance. Throughout the season, dancers work with professional artists to investigate and collaborate on choreography, and their work is presented in venues throughout the year and in a season finale concert each Spring.

Professionally, she works as a Program Coordinator, specializing in human resources and student support, at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Alexa is inspired by Young Dance’s commitment to inclusion, belonging, and artistry and became further interested in involvement with Young Dance after volunteering at several events during spring 2026.
