Current classes offered: Competitive Beginner and Competitive/Recreational Adult. Rhianna Rice is the owner of Step Spring Leap Highland Dance Studio. Rhianna has been dancing nearly her whole life. She grew up learning to walk and dance at the same time with her family and the Welsh Folk Dance Society of Greater Kansas City. Soon after, she started lessons with the Dyer School of Highland Dance.

New class alert 🔔 We’re holding a trial class for ages 4-6 years old in Lee’s Summit, MO for little movers! Limited space available‼️ This class will feature play elements intertwined with color recognition, learning left and right, and gross motor movement. Highland movements will be incorporated to help kids with structure and self-confidence! DM to register today!

We had an eventful weekend in Dallas! 🤠 Lots of improvements were made and placings in a tough group in the Pre-premier competition today! 🏅🏅 We had fun attending the Ceilidh and spent some time at Jade Waters ☀️ Thanks to the team that made this event possible!

Gillian hasn’t danced with us long, but has successfully placed in every competition since dancing with us! She is a hardworking individual (Check out all the activities she has on her plate!). We are so glad that our home competition will be your last before college starts. We know you will shine bright. ✨
Looking back on our day in St. Louis! The dancers kept their spirits up despite the rain 🌧️ that threatened to send us indoors and for adapting to a new stage orientation for the Sword. ⚔️ Way to go dancers!
I share a little about the behind the scenes process of creating my new logo. My best advice is find someone you trust and who listens to your dreams. was that person for me! Thank you for your patience with me throughout this process. Rhianna from 2017 who first opened the studio is so proud of all I’ve accomplished today! 🐸🌸

We had a successful competition weekend in St. Louis! Both dancers stamped! Our Beginner dancer was able to show off and dance confidently in her brand new kilt! Our Novice dancer was also able to dance confidently in her new vest with a hidden unicorn for good luck! 🦄 💖 We’ll be fine tuning a few things before our home competition in less than two weeks 🤗

I am so excited to announce our new logo! 📣 This has been such a thoughtful process and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you!
