She loves keeping current on the latest fitness & health trends. Donna lives in Wittman, Maryland with her husband (Shawn), her chessie (Ace), her retriever (Bianca) & her rescue cat (Minnie). It can be tempting to add extra miles when you're feeling strong, but building too quickly is one of the biggest causes of running injuries. Give your body time to adapt so you can stay healthy and keep making progress.

✅ Increase mileage gradually.
✅ Schedule at least one recovery day each week.
✅ Listen to your body—fatigue and soreness are signals, not weaknesses.

Remember: A few extra miles today aren't worth weeks on the sidelines.
