“Is this science or magic?” 😂
Before Britany’s virtual running assessment, her left hamstring would tighten within minutes of running. She also felt discomfort through her ankle, foot, and even her back.
She had already tried doctors, imaging, massage, stretching, PT exercises—all the things. But as she put it:
“They knew I was a runner…but they didn’t address the running.”
Through her virtual assessment, we looked at how her entire body moved while running—not just where she hurt. Once we identified the movement pattern contributing to the problem, we gave her specific cues and exercises to help her glute do its job instead of asking her hamstring to keep taking over.
After just one session, she sent me this:
“I think today is the first time in a couple years where my left hamstring has not been incredibly tight and painful just walking around.”
It isn’t magic—and one session isn’t the end of the work. But when you stop guessing and finally address why the same area keeps getting overloaded, things can start changing quickly.
Your painful spot isn’t always the source of the problem.
We don’t guess. We assess.
