🚨 MEET COACH DORJATH 🚨

At Champion Craft Coaching, development starts at the top.

We’re proud to introduce Coach Dorjath, Co-Owner of Champion Craft Coaching and the Head of Kane County Elite Baseball (KCE). ⚾

Coach Dorjath plays a major role in shaping the vision, culture, and development philosophy behind CCC and KCE.

His focus is simple:

Develop the athlete. Develop the player. Develop the person.

⚾ Co-Owner — Champion Craft Coaching
⚾ Head of KCE Baseball
🎯 Player Development & Program Leadership
🔥 Culture, Accountability & Competition

Through KCE, Coach Dorjath is committed to creating an environment where athletes can develop without the distractions of politics, favoritism, or daddy ball.

Instead, the focus stays where it belongs:

Development. Competition. Opportunity.

At CCC, we believe athletes deserve coaches who are willing to invest in them, challenge them, and hold them accountable — while also giving them the tools and environment to succeed.

Coach Dorjath is a huge part of building that culture.

We're not just building baseball players.

We're building the Champions of Tomorrow.

🧠 WHY WEDNESDAY

WHY DOES YOUR ATHLETE NEED A DEVELOPMENT PLAN?

Because “just getting reps” isn't the same as getting better.

Every athlete is different.

Different strengths.
Different weaknesses.
Different movement patterns.
Different goals.

That's why training shouldn't be one-size-fits-all.

At Champion Craft Coaching, we want to know:

🎯 Where is your athlete now?
📈 What are we trying to improve?
🧠 What does the athlete need to learn?
🔄 How are we going to train it?
📊 How will we measure progress?

A development plan gives every rep a purpose.

Instead of:

“Let's take 100 swings.”

We're asking:

“What are we trying to improve with these 100 swings?”

That's the difference between working out and training.

That's the difference between taking reps and developing an athlete.

⚾🥎 If you're ready for a more intentional approach to your athlete's development:

📲 DM “DEVELOP” and let's build a plan.

🔥 MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY 🔥

You don't have to be great today.

You just have to be willing to work today for the player you want to become tomorrow.

Set the goal. 🎯
Stay focused.
Embrace the hard days.
Trust the process.
Keep showing up.

Because champions aren't simply born.

They're built — one rep, one adjustment, and one day at a time.

⚾🥎 Don't wish for the athlete you want to become.

WORK TOWARD BECOMING THEM.

WORK. DON'T WISH.

🔥 DRILL OF THE WEEK: WALK-UP TEE DRILL 🔥

Can your hitter adjust without losing their swing?

The Walk-Up Tee Drill challenges hitters to move through different contact positions while maintaining intent, balance, and efficient movement.

We're working on:

⚾ Adjusting to different contact points
⚾ Maintaining posture and balance
⚾ Creating consistent bat path
⚾ Staying connected through rotation
⚾ Controlling the body while increasing intent
⚾ Learning to make adjustments — not just repeat swings

The goal isn't to make every swing look exactly the same.

The goal is to teach hitters how to adjust.

Because in a game, the ball doesn't always arrive in the same place.

Great hitters don't panic when something changes.

They adjust.

That's why every drill at Champion Craft Coaching has a purpose.

Train the movement. Build the skill. Apply it to the game.

🚨 MEET COACH BURCH 🚨

We’re proud to have Coach Steve Burchill as part of the Champion Craft Coaching family for the past 1 year — bringing a unique combination of high-level athletic experience, coaching knowledge, and technology-driven development to our athletes. ⚾🥎

As the Owner of Diamond Backstop Academy and a Coordinator & Lead Instructor at CCC, Coach Burch works with both baseball and softball athletes, with a particular focus on catcher development.

💯 THE COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Coach Burch believes development starts with hard work, commitment, accountability, and refusing to make excuses.

Show up. Put in the work. Take the opportunity. Become better.

For Coach Burch, development isn't just about improving skills — it's about teaching athletes to embrace the process, attack their goals, and become the best version of themselves.

🧤 CATCHER DEVELOPMENT

Coach Burch works with catchers across both sports, helping athletes develop:

⚾ Baseball catching
🥎 Softball catching
🧤 Receiving & blocking
🎯 Throwing mechanics & accuracy
⚡ Pop time & transfer development
🧠 Game awareness & leadership
💪 Arm care & throwing development

His goal isn't simply to make catchers better behind the plate — it's to develop complete athletes who understand the position and can lead their teams.

🏆 COACHING & CREDENTIALS

⚾ USA Baseball Certified
⚾ ABCA Member
📊 Rapsodo Certified
📊 Blast Motion Certified

Coach Burch has been coaching since the age of 19 and has coached travel baseball since 2012.

🧠 WHY WEDNESDAY

WHY DOES DEVELOPMENT TAKE TIME?

Because you can't build a great athlete overnight.

Real development requires:

⚾ Learning the movement
🔄 Repeating the movement
🎯 Applying it under pressure
📈 Measuring progress
💪 Building confidence
🔥 Staying consistent

One good lesson doesn't transform an athlete.

One bad practice doesn't define them either.

Development happens when athletes consistently show up, receive quality coaching, make adjustments, and continue working toward the next level.

That's why at Champion Craft Coaching, we don't chase quick fixes.

We build athletes.

The goal isn't to make an athlete look better for one day.

The goal is to make them better for the long haul.

Parents — if you're looking for a training environment focused on long-term development instead of quick fixes, let's talk.

🔥 THIS IS COACH BURCH. 🧤

Intensity. Accountability. Attention to detail.

But underneath all of it is one thing:

He genuinely cares about developing his athletes.

Coach Burch isn't going to let an athlete settle for “good enough.”

He pushes them to:

🧤 Move better
⚾ Build better habits
💪 Become stronger and more confident
🎯 Master the details of their position
🔥 Compete through the uncomfortable reps

The intensity you see isn't about yelling just to yell.

It's about demanding more because he knows the athlete is capable of more.

And that's what development-focused coaching looks like.

Coach Burch works with baseball and softball catchers, helping athletes understand that becoming great at the position takes more than putting on the gear.

It takes work, discipline, repetition, and a coach who cares enough to hold you accountable.

At Champion Craft Coaching, we don't just want athletes to get better.

We want them to understand HOW to get better.

🧤 Ready to take your catcher development to the next level?

🔥 MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY 🔥

You don't need to be the best today.

You just need to be better than you were yesterday.

Show up when it's hard.
Work when nobody is watching.
Trust the process when results don't come quickly.
And remember — small improvements add up.

The athletes who separate themselves aren't always the most talented.

They're the ones who keep showing up.

At Champion Craft Coaching, we believe development is a process:

Work. Learn. Improve. Repeat.

⚾🥎 Don't wish for the player you want to become. Work toward becoming them.

WORK. DON'T WISH.

🔥 DRILL OF THE WEEK: PVC TEE DRILL 🔥

Sometimes the best way to improve a swing is to take the bat out of the equation.

The PVC Tee Drill is designed to help hitters feel and understand how the body should sequence through the swing.

We're working on:

⚾ Loading into the lower half
⚾ Initiating with the hips
⚾ Creating proper rotation
⚾ Sequencing the lower half → torso → upper body
⚾ Maintaining posture through the movement
⚾ Finishing the rotation with intent

The goal isn't just to hit the ball.

The goal is to teach the athlete HOW to move.

That's what development-focused training looks like at Champion Craft Coaching.

One drill. One movement pattern. One step closer to becoming a better hitter.

Want your athlete to have a training plan built around their development?
