Meet your new fav core exercise. We all know planks, but have you met the planks cheeky inverted pal the reverse plank?
This version builds engagement in the posterior chain(back of the body) - and is a great stabilizer.
Here we’ve got 3 versions to try
1. The Regular: think about keeping yourself aligned, eyes start looking forward, and end looking at the ceiling
2. The Bent Knee: this is more of a crab lift, another really great option for activating the muscles in the back in your body
3. The Elbows: this one is arguably more challenging because of the lower center of gravity - this is ideal for anyone who may have wrist discomfort from the full palms down motion.
Studies have shown the benefits of shorter bursts of core activation. Start with a few reps really focusing on alignment and engagement - and then build as your body masters the movement.

A 2024 study by Baylor University found that extending sleep by just 46 minutes per night significantly improves mood, resilience, and feelings of gratitude, while losing just 37 minutes can worsen these traits.
In addition to cognitive function getting enough sleep is also vital for building muscle.
Tonight, let’s set our bedtime alarm, but turn the blue light off and get some sweet zzzzz 😴

look here folks, a balanced diet, and regular physical activity is here to stay. You can’t get around it anymore than you can get around the need to brush your teeth regularly.
According to world health organization (WHO) at least 80% of heart disease, stroke, and type two diabetes cases could be prevented by better eating habits and regular physical activity.
We are not talking about Olympic level exercise, or militant dieting. We are talking about taking a walk after work, choosing the stairs, picking up weights a couple times a week, and adding more plants and variety to your diet regularly. Totally doable, and totally worth it.
The least we can do is make our physical activity fun and our food delicious (and nutritious)
Follow us for more tips on how to incorporate these healthy habits for term, and slide into our DM’s if you are interested in a personalized program (virtual or in person)
We’re all in this together, and we got this 🤗 💪🏾
