OG Level 1
Absolute beginner
The purpose of OG Level 1 is to teach people who have never danced before and get them moving by showing them their basics, easy to do patterns for brand new beginners.

OG Technique
Technique/ Body Conditioning
The purpose of OG Technique is to reinforce the basics to dancers by digging deeper into body movement, and techniques that will range from individual technique to partnerwork technique in order for them to feel more comfortable in their dancing and keeping them safe.

OG Level 2
Beginner Intermediate
The purpose of OG Level 2 is to work with dancers who have a good understanding of their basics and ready to dive into the conversation of frame, close position, keeping your line, new shines, easy and practical turn patterns that will have you ready for the dance floor.

OG Level 2.5
Beginner Intermediate
The purpose of OG Level 2.5 is to start working on body movement, longer more complex shines, and progressive partnerwork by piecing together the technique learned from OG level 2

OG Level 3
Beginner Advanced
The purpose of Beginner Advanced is to work with dancers who are looking to break into the intermediate range of their salsa journey. We will be working on more complex body movement, weekly new shines, and more challenging progressive partnerwork.

OG Social Lab -
On1 vs On2
For this month of OG Lab we will be working on the similarities and differences between On1 and On2. Learning how to convert On1 Footwork and partnerwork to On2.

The Queen of Salsa Dance and Latin Dances
Alien Ramírez is a Cuban artist internationally recognized for her exceptional talent, stage presence, and outstanding versatility in Latin dance. With 24 World Titles across multiple dance disciplines, she is admired for her ability to master a wide range of genres, including Salsa Cabaret, Salsa On1 (Line Style), Cuban Salsa (Casino), Salsa Solo, Bachata Cabaret, Bachata Floorwork, Merengue, Cha Cha Chá, Hustle, among others.

Considered one of the most influential figures in the global Latin dance community, Alien has established herself as a professional dancer, instructor, mentor, choreographer, and international judge. Her distinctive methodology integrates ballroom technique, popular and social dance traditions, and academic foundations, shaped by her training at Cuba’s prestigious School of Art Instructors (Escuela de Instructores de Arte – EIA), as well as her continuous research and artistic refinement.

Through her comprehensive program, Alien has contributed to redefining Latin dance as a complete artistic and cultural language—incorporating history, music, technical structure, and Afro-Cuban roots. Her academic approach positions dance as a tool for cultural unity and connection, in the same way as music and literature serve as bridges between people.

The Latin Rhythm Boys is a legendary, high-energy Puerto Rican Salsa and Jíbaro orchestra based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally founded in 1957 by Junior Henry Miranda, the band has been passed down to and revived by his sons, Musical Director Earl Miranda and Musical Producer Henry Miranda Jr.. They are well-known for their heavy trombone "Trombanga" sound—influenced by Mon Rivera and Willie Colón—and their unique integration of the traditional Puerto Rican cuatro guitar over a driving salsa clave
