Exercise:
All successful people make time to exercise daily. Whether it's going for a walk. bike ride, swimming, weight training, martial arts practice or yoga.
A good exercise program should include some type of weight training or body weight exercise, cardiovascular/ aerobic exercise, mobility and flexibility routine.

We are a family owned and family focused martial arts school. We teach a blended system of martial arts.
The Mapag Tapat Shi system of martial arts is comprised of Kali, Escrima, Kenpo and Jeet Kune Do. Home of the Warrior Workout - a full body, functional strength training program utilizing kettle bells, free weights, body weight exercises, medicine balls and tractor tires.

Habits For Success:
* Set Goals*
Setting goals and working towards them is an important part of success. All successful people set goals for themselves.
Here are some examples:
In martial arts, setting goals can mean earning your next tip/stripe, next belt, improving your forms, self defense or sparring skill, etc.
At school, getting better at a subject, get better grades, being responsible and on time for classes, completing your homework or assignments on time and without being reminded.
At home, being helpful around the house. Keep your room clean and organized. Complete homework assignments on time. Get along with siblings.
Steps to setting (and Achieving) goals:
1- Set your goal(s). Sounds easy enough but most people never set goals for themselves. Write them down!
2- Break down/write down what steps or actions you will have to complete to achieve your goals.
3- Take action on your goal(s) everyday until you achieve your goal.
