Self defense class working a “chaos” drill. The purpose of this type of drill is not to learn how to fight against multiple threats. Instead, it is for getting students used to the feeling of being overwhelmed and still responding. Many people initially freeze when overcome with immense stimulation and pressure. This drill is a starting point to get individuals used to mentally orienting themselves so that they will respond defensively, as well as offensively, when needed.
