Do you ever catch yourself saying, “I only lost 1 pound”? 🤔
That single pound is doing more than you might think.
For every pound of fat your body carries, it creates approximately 7 miles of additional blood vessels to supply that tissue with oxygen and nutrients. That means for every 10 pounds gained, your heart may be working to pump blood through roughly 70 extra miles of vessels.
The amazing part? The opposite is true, too. As you lose fat, your body no longer needs those extra vessels and gradually breaks them down and reabsorbs them. ❤️
