I will be participating in the Health Education Council's Workforce Development Symposium and Job Fair on Friday. Events begin at 8am at Midtown Church, 1225 19th Street. Community panels discuss economic, workforce and employment issues until 1:30p. The Job Fair offers opportunity with employers beginning at 2:30p. I will address entrepreneur opportunity on the panel at 10:30a Cultivating Successful Partnerships. In 1975 I opened Robinson's Taekwondo with an empty former laundromat space, $350 and a maxed out credit card! 50 years later, I have trained thousands of Black Belt students, help create two national TKD organizations, become one of the Americans on the worldwide Kukkiwon World Advisory Group and was honored in July this year with the G.O.A.T. TKD honors for 2026. A dream can take you forward and by doing something you love and believe in you never work a day in your life! Thanks to Martin Ross and HEC for this invite and the important work they do for our community.
