Everyone knows Glitterboom Jenkins loves fireworks.

What most people don’t know is that he once became best friends with a bald eagle named Earl.

Earl was majestic.

Earl was fearless.

Earl was also the kind of bird who heard the phrase, “I bet you can’t,” and immediately replied, “Watch me.”

On 4th of July Eve, Earl swooped into Glitterboom’s fireworks stand.

“I’ve got an idea.”

Glitterboom sighed.

“That’s never the beginning of a good sentence.”

“What if we did the National Anthem…”

“So far, so good…”

“…while riding a shopping cart down a hill?”

Glitterboom blinked.

“…Go on.”

“…wearing matching American flag sunglasses…”

“Uh-huh…”

“…and throwing confetti.”

Glitterboom thought for a moment.

“That actually sounds kind of awesome.”

Five minutes later, they had somehow acquired a shopping cart, matching sunglasses, three pounds of biodegradable confetti, and absolutely zero adult supervision.

The ride lasted exactly four seconds.

The crash lasted much longer.

The shopping cart rolled into a giant stack of empty fireworks boxes, which exploded into the air like patriotic cardboard snow.

Confetti covered everything.

Earl landed in a bush.

Glitterboom landed upside down with his unicorn legs sticking out of his inflatable eagle costume.

Just then…

A police officer walked over.

He looked at Earl.

He looked at Glitterboom.

He looked at the shopping cart.

He looked at the confetti.

Finally, he sighed.

“So…”

Glitterboom raised one hoof.

“In my defense…”

Earl interrupted.

“It was mostly my idea.”

The officer nodded.

“I figured.”

After a long pause, he smiled.

“I’m not writing you a ticket…”

Glitterboom gasped with relief.

“…because nobody would believe this report anyway.”

Instead, the officer handed them both brooms.

“You two can start by cleaning up the world’s most patriotic mess.”

For the next hour, Glitterboom and Earl swept cardboard, picked confetti out of bushes, and promised to keep all future celebrations at least 15 feet away from shopping carts.

Come buy fireworks!!! Help us sell out all 3 booths!

Everyone assumes Glitterboom Jenkins comes to the fireworks booth because he loves explosions, patriotic music, and being photographed from his good side.

They’re only half right.

Sure, Glitterboom believes every firework should be purchased with dramatic flair, and yes, he has been known to strike a runway pose next to a display of fountains. But the real reason he keeps showing up every Fourth of July?

The kids. According to Glitterboom, children are the true VIPs.

He lives for the little ones who sprint to the booth like they’ve just been called to the Super Bowl of summer. He cheers for the kids who spend twenty minutes comparing fireworks like tiny financial advisors. And he secretly admires the ones who convince their parents that buying “just one more” assortment is somehow a matter of national pride.

When they proudly carry away their fireworks, convinced they had made the greatest purchase in the history of America, Glitterboom would whisper, “Excellent choice, young patriot.”

“The fireworks will be gone in a few minutes,” he says, flipping his mane. “But those kids? They’re the real fireworks.”

Legend says he was crowned “America’s Most Handsome Unicorn Supermodel” after accidentally posing for a family photo and ending up on the cover of every firework package in the land. The ladies swoon. The gentlemen ask where he gets his mane done. Children cheer. Bald eagles nod in approval.
But Glitterboom never lets the fame go to his head. He simply flashes his million-dollar smile, signs a few autographs, reminds everyone to enjoy the fireworks safely, and gallops off into the night—leaving behind a trail of glitter, laughter, and the faint smell of funnel cake. To this day, if you see an unusually fabulous unicorn on the Fourth of July, don’t worry… it’s probably just Glitterboom Jenkins making America sparkle one strut at a time.

Glitterboom Jenkins: part unicorn, part supermodel, 100% American legend. The ladies love him, the fireworks envy him, and freedom has never looked this fabulous. 🇺🇸🦄✨

Well all, not the morning we hoped to have, but as promised, here is Glitterboom to tell our story......

No one in Sparkle County took the 4th of July more seriously than Glitterboom Jenkins. He arrived before sunrise, balancing two trays of starshaped donuts. He was already picturing teh day's customers when something felt....off.

The inflatable eagle was face-down in the parking lot. One lonely sparker sat in the gravel like it had survived a battlefield.

Glitterboom slowly opened the storage container door. Empty. Every fountain? Gone. Every box? Gone.

Glitterboom's jaw dropped so hard his horseshoes clinked together.

"My....my Pyro Ponies!" he gasped.

Within minutes, word spread through the town.

A squirrel wearing a tiny Uncle Sam hat fainted. The local marching band played Taps. Someone lowered the inflatable tube man to half-mast.

"Glitterboom," Mayor Betty Buttercup said gently, "We're going to figure this out."

Yes, one of our Royal Stage stands was robbed last night. Please consider buying from any of our locations (500 Cirby or Sam's Club CH this morning, and then 6400 Antelope Rd this afternoon onward).....or make a donation to help recover our loss......
