What’s going on with Centre Parks and Recreation right now?

-⚽️ Youth soccer registration recently closed, and practices are getting underway. There will be a coaches meetings tonight at the Mary G Waite Community Centre for the 6u and 10u. We are actively looking for 1 more coach for the 8u, so we can start that age group.
Soccer Update: we’ve found our last 8u coach! 8u coach’s meeting will be Thursday at 6pm.

- On September 11: The B Team Angles are scheduled for a patriotic performance at the Mary G Waite Community Center Auditorium at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited to attend.

-🏈 September 19: Centre Parks and Recreation Night at Jax st vs Georgia Southern at 6:00pm. We’ve already given out 100 free tickets, courtesy of Swafford Auction Group. We can now provide a promo code for $7.50 tickets to anyone who’d like to join us.

-🏃‍♂️ October 3: The Fall Festival Fun Run is coming up for ages 3-13, and it’s free. Sign up on RecDesk. Please note the participant’s shirt size. This will be the 50th anniversary for the City of Centre Fall Festival.

-⚾️🥎 Big Time Sports is bringing Saturday baseball/softball tournaments to Centre. Look into playing this weekend.
