As another Dallas Race Week comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every sailor, crew member and supporter who made this year's regatta happen.
A very special thank you goes to the leadership, members, and staff of Rush Creek Yacht Club for graciously hosting Dallas Race Week. Your hospitality and facilities created an exceptional experience for everyone involved. We are truly grateful for your partnership.
Finally, thank you to everyone who supported the Scott Self Trade School Scholarship. Your generosity helps provide life-changing opportunities for local students pursuing careers in the skilled trades—a fitting legacy that continues to grow through our sailing community.
We hope everyone had a fantastic week both on and off the water. We look forward to seeing you all back on the starting line for Dallas Race Week next year!

Dallas Race Week will be hosted by Rush Creek Yacht Club, June 22–26, 2026.
Located on the south end of Lake Ray Hubbard, Rush Creek Yacht Club has stepped forward with an exceptional vision for the future of this legendary regatta. Their leadership team has presented a thoughtful and energetic plan designed to increase participation and elevate the overall experience for sailors and guests alike.
Highlights of the 2026 event will include:
Complimentary overnight courtesy docking for visiting sailboats throughout the week
A full schedule of evening social events with food available all five nights with a cash bar.
Live music and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere
Strong race committee support to ensure high-quality racing
A renewed and enthusiastic focus on fundraising for the Scott Self Trade School Scholarship
Racing will take place each evening, followed by social gatherings at the club, continuing the tradition of combining spirited competition with community connection.
We are also pleased to share that Billy Self will continue to serve as Regatta Chairman, providing continuity and leadership as the event enters this exciting new phase.
Dallas Race Week has always been more than just a regatta—it’s a celebration of sailing, friendship, and giving back. As we look ahead to 2026, we encourage all Lake Ray Hubbard sailors—whether longtime competitors or newcomers—to mark their calendars and be part of this next chapter.
Rush Creek Yacht Club is ready to host, and the future of Dallas Race Week has never looked brighter.
