🇺🇸 What an outstanding afternoon on 8 July with the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce! The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce

I was honored to represent Launch Pad Golf Club and lead the Pledge of Allegiance during the Chamber’s July luncheon celebrating 250 Years of American Excellence.

The entire program was exceptional—from the American Legion Post 117 Color Guard and the Eau Gallie High School Choir’s patriotic performances to the opportunity to connect with the Mayor of Palm Bay and other community leaders from Palm Bay and West Melbourne.

The highlight was undoubtedly keynote speaker Chief Warrant Officer 5 Phyllis J. Wilson, President of the Military Women’s Memorial. Her presentation, “Jump—From Army Parachutist to the Boardroom: Make the Leap,” was inspiring, powerful, and filled with lessons in leadership, courage, and service. We were also extremely proud to see Launch Pad Golf Club–Melbourne highlighted as the host location for the Chamber’s first-ever veterans council gathering—Rally Point: Connecting Veterans, Business & Community!

A few weeks ago, Blake stopped by PAD ROCK with his dad and young son while working in Brevard on a long-term SpaceX assignment.

They had such a great time…

This time he came back with his wife and little one. 😊

Tonight it wasn’t about birdies, handicaps, or swing speed.

It was about dads spending quality time with their kids.

While the children preferred to stay out of the photos (we completely respect that 👍), they were right there laughing, playing, and enjoying the evening in the safe, private environment that has become Launch Pad Golf Club’s trademark.

These gentlemen have been members at PAD ROCK for nearly three years—almost since the very beginning.

I asked them a simple question:

“Why do you keep coming back?”

Their answer was even simpler…

“There isn’t another place in Brevard that offers what you do.”

That’s humbling.

After what seemed like an entire Army brigade joining Launch Pad Golf Club lately, I was beginning to wonder where all my fellow Airmen were!

Today Rick M. helped restore a little balance by joining PAD ROCK as our newest member using our Veteran Discount. (Army guys… we still love you too! 😉)

Rick’s mission? Improve his driver.

We spent time diving into TrackMan’s incredible data and how it can turn practice into real improvement. That’s one of my favorite parts of welcoming new members—helping golfers understand why the ball does what it does.

This week we welcomed Anthony, our newest member at PAD ROCK!

Anthony is a Florida Tech graduate, a technology entrepreneur, and a self-proclaimed AI enthusiast who owns an IT company developing AI solutions for businesses. Needless to say… we had plenty to talk about! 🤖💻

While Anthony’s career is built around cutting-edge technology, he’s still fairly new to golf—so we spent some time talking through the fundamentals of the game and getting him comfortable with the incredible features inside TrackMan.
