Brought the beach to the bike shop. Michigan geography and climate are designed to destroy modern bikes. 10% -100% humidity. 0 to 120 degrees F. Fine beach sand and dusty clay. Unfortunately, bikes wear more quickly. It’s important to keep your bike dialed to prevent faster wear.

SRAM Brose motor swappage on a Transition Repeater. The motors weigh about the same as the single speed rigid 29ers of the 2010s. Remember when bikes were simple? Times are changing and we’re ready for it!

Caught this loose Switch Infinity link before it broke. Very lucky I didn’t find any issues, other than the upper right bolt backing out. I replaced the mounting hardware and inspected the pivots before re-assembly.

Emergency shock service left for the Marji Gesick. Compression lever would spin like a top. The screw that limits how far the blue lever moves back and forth to change the compression from open to firm had bent. Did a 200hr service and dyno tested.

Alex built up this Stealthy Enve Composites MOG gravel bike. He went with the superb SRAM Force AXS drivetrain with an XO mountain rear derailleur and 10-52t XO cassette. Rounded off with the beautiful Enve 4.5 G-SES wheelset.

Fox Float X Shock done and dusted. The new iteration of the DPX2 (see last post). This also had a ton of cavitation (photo 3). Good news is this doesn’t usually happen nearly as soon as the DPX2. The LABA7 bleeder works phenomenally well and can’t do the job correctly without it!

Fox DPX2 with what looks like cream cold brew. These shocks are notorious for immense cavitation. Full rebuild and vacuum bleed with our glorious LABA7 shock bleeder. 100% of the time, it works every time.
