🩰Meet the incredible Thomas Warfield!🎭

We’re thrilled to welcome award-winning artist, educator, choreographer, actor, poet, and global arts advocate Thomas Warfield to our 2026 Summer Intensive Faculty at The School of Rochester City Ballet.

With a career spanning more than 100 cities worldwide and six countries, Thomas brings a wealth of experience in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, African-based dance, choreography, improvisation, and interdisciplinary arts. His passion for education, creativity, and community-building has inspired artists of all ages across the globe.

Leonard will be joining us for the final three weeks of the program, August 3-21, sharing his extensive professional experience and passion for dance with our students.🩰

With a career that has taken him from the Dominican Republic to stages across the country, Leonard has performed with renowned companies, collaborated with celebrated choreographers, and is currently serving as the inaugural Artist-in-Residence at the University of Rochester’s Frederick Douglass Institute and Program of Dance and Movement.
