COACHES SPOTLIGHT: Wes Emmert CSCS, ATC (Retired)
Wes is a strength and conditioning coach and the lead of the Athletic Performance department. He has been in Athletic Performance at OMC since the beginning and has been an integral part of its development and evolution. Wes trains athletes at all levels, the general population, and tactical athletes. Primarily, Wes now focuses on several of our group fitness classes, 1-on-1 personal training with a wide range of clients, and works with the Rochester Police Department and their training program.
Wes brings a wealth of experience as both an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach. He spent 12 years as a strength and conditioning coach at Boston College prior to coming to Rochester to implement youth athlete personal training in addition to personal training and many other adult fitness programs.

Interesting fact about Wes: Wes was the original coach who started Athletic Performance at OMC.
