12 year old fancy buckskin Welsh pony 12.3 ½ hands

Finn has been professionally trained and has show miles in both hunter and dressage competitions. He is flashy! He can do all the 3rd level dressage moves and jump a 2’3 course. He’s a kick ride so needs an ambitious rider to keep him forwards. He is honest to jumps, trail rides, teaches lessons to beginners, and can be a super fun dressage pony. This pony could qualify for pony cup!!

Finn lives in a mixed herd, is barefoot, does not need maintenance (actually I don’t think he’s ever been lame), no history of colic, laminitis, etc.

Finn is currently not very fit as his riders have outgrown him. He will need some time to lose weight before he is show ready again but someone is going to find a super best friend in him! He’s very personable - cross ties, clips, bathes, loads, easy to handle, etc.

The barn I train out of in Byron MN has a brand new outdoor arena! It's bigger than a regulation dressage ring and we can accommodate haul in lessons! Day and overnight stalls available. Let me know if you want to come learn!

Penny has experience with Western and English riding. She is not spooky but is particular about how she is ridden so probably not ideal for a beginner. Penny is sound but needs some maintenance to stay comfortable. She is registered Pinto.

Penny lives in a mixed herd barefoot and fine in stall, for farrier, vet, clippers, etc.

Penny could make a nice trail horse, lead line horse, pasture pet with riding duties, or a nice riding horse for a less ambitious rider (i.e. not going to jump, barrel race, or do dressage above training level). She can do lateral work, kids can stand up on her or ride double, backwards, or upside down.

Otter Creek Dressage Fest is done and there were definitely highs and lows! After being eliminated in our first test for some behavior issues, Pan improved and now has a good start at 2nd level.

3 year old Dwayne did his first show and lived up to his name ("The Rock")- he was the perfect baby horse and scored between 71-75% while getting some valuable exposure to all things horse show.

Amber and Jazz survived their first show and demonstrated serious resilience after some excitement in the warm up ring.

We were sad that Caitlin Lake and Sven couldn't compete with us (due to an abscess) but thanks Caitlin for coming anyways and being a huge help!

The community we have in the Dressage world around here is so wonderful- there's a friendly face everywhere you turn and so much support between barns. I am grateful to be a part of this.

I have spent several months taking another equine nutrition class - and am now certified as a level 3 Equine Nutrition Advisor with Legacy Equine Nutrition. This course was especially great as we read and dissected many scientific articles related horse nutrition. We had 2 PhD Equine Nutritionist teachers and a group of super smart students to learn with.

Let me know if I can help you better feed your horse! I do virtual consultations or can come to you if you aren't too far away. I can help you figure out if you are feeding an appropriate grain, supplements, or hay for what your horse needs. I won't sell you anything other than information/education.

I have a client in MN who is horse shopping- do you have something for sale that fits the bill? She's a really good 1st/2nd level rider but doesn't want to deal with an anxious horse. Would be an excellent home!

Panda and I have done a couple shows this summer and are having a blast at 1st level. He is so much fun to show- I feel so lucky to have him. Today we scored over 73% at 1st3... we've finally figured out how to stand still in a halt, stop impersonating a dolphin in the canter, and kindof organize his giant canter (still a ways to go!). Next show his 3 year old full brother (Dwayne) gets to come along!

Thanks to Nexus Saddlery for supplying Panda yet another saddle (at age 6 we've been through a few saddles. Don't think we are done yet!
