⭐️JULY MASTERCLASSES

Continuing with our July masterclass instructors, next up is Maddi Coole! Maddi will be teaching a lyrical combo masterclass and a yoga sculpt class! Classes are open to 7-12th graders.

Maddi grew up dancing at Madill Performing Arts Center under Jenn Madill, training in a variety of styles, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and more. She was a five-year member and two-year captain of the Duluth East Dance Team and is now entering her fourth year as a Varsity Assistant Coach. Most recently, she helped lead the team to its first double state appearance in Kick and Jazz in AAA for the 2025-2026 season. Maddi continued her dance career at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she was a five-year member and three-year captain. She earned several individual awards and most notably, led the team to their first National Championship in Open Jazz in 2023. She is currently teaching competitive dance at 218 Dance Project in Duluth and is so excited to meet and work with all the dancers at Rochester JFK!

⭐️ JULY ADV/ELITE TECHNIQUE + COMBOS

Advanced/Elite Technique and Collegiate Combos with Marren will incorporate a warm up/stretch, technique combinations in center and across the floor, a contemporary/lyrical combo on the 9th and a hip hop combo on the 16th!

Marren is an alumni of Rochester Just For Kix where she danced for 5 years. She was a six-year member and two-time captain of the Mayo Dance Team. Over the past six years, Marren has worked as a Just For Kix Camp Staff member and choreographer, earning the 2022 most organized and reliable camp staff member. She also coached the Duluth East fall dance team for one season and the winter team for two seasons. Marren was also a five-year member and one-time captain of the University of Minnesota Duluth dance team where she won an Open Jazz National Championship at UDA in 2023! She has received a numerous awards as a dancer, including MOD, Heather Star Habeck, MADT Stand Out, All State Kick, and All Conference! She is currently going into her third season at JFK Rochester!

DAY 4 RECAP Just For Kix

Wow! What an amazing past 4 days at camp, we had a blast! Thank you to all of the JFK staff for being so great, we couldn’t thank you enough. A special shoutout to pay who was our team leader this week! It was so fun getting to spend time and bond with you.

We learned so much this week, made new friends, and danced our hearts out! A special shoutout to our seniors for their last ever JFK camp, thank you for being amazing leaders all week!

DAY 3 RECAP Just For Kix

Another amazing day at camp! We can’t believe that it’s almost over. Today started with private coaching with Gina + Payton, thank you both for working with us! We finished learning up our routines and we can’t wait to show them tomorrow. The night ended with the class 1 show…and we even got to see our coaches dance! Let’s go Day 4!
