Fall Tips for Apartment Living

As cooler weather arrives, a few simple steps can help keep your apartment comfortable, efficient, and ready for the season.
Quick Fall Checklist

• Check windows and doors: Look for damaged weatherstripping.

• Test safety devices: Press the test button on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and report any issues right away.

• Clear heating vents: Keep furniture, rugs, and curtains away from vents so warm air can circulate.

• Prepare patios and balconies: Sweep leaves, store cushions, secure lightweight décor, and cover outdoor furniture before cold or windy weather.

• Prevent plumbing problems: Report leaks early and keep apartment temperatures at a safe level during cold snaps.

• Tidy and declutter: Store summer items, organize closets, and make room for coats, boots, and seasonal supplies.

• Add cozy touches safely: Use warm lighting, blankets, and seasonal décor.

Maintenance Reminder

If you notice leaks, heating concerns, exterior lighting issues, or any safety device that is not working properly, please submit a maintenance request as soon as possible so the team can help before winter weather arrives.

What a wonderful pool season we had at Stoney Creek! ☀️🏊‍♀️
It has been great seeing everyone enjoy sunny days, cool swims, and time together by the pool. While we are sad to see the season come to an end, please note that the Stoney Creek pool will officially close for the season end of August 30, 2026.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this pool season so enjoyable.
We hope you made great memories, and we look forward to seeing you back at the pool next season!
