Spent a few hours this morning working on the Genesee River Path clearing back brush and marking raised roots.

From the Cemetery on Lake Ave (2.25 mile) to Petten (4.60 mile) is just about ready for race day. Will do a second sweep race week and final check race morning

Update From Letchworth State Park as of 9/6 1:30pm …. Re Parade Grounds Tornado

Given their current information please stay out of the areas of trail 7 south of parade grounds and the greenway north of parade grounds to river road including the Parade Grounds. If you have current trail condition pics they would appreciate the information found to be sent to them so that we can coordinate trail repairs. The ultimate goal is for safety.

Want to help Letchworth Parade Grounds and Cleanup? (this is where Sehgahunda takes place) Spoke with the park and currently what they need are folks to hike or run the east side trails (the race course) esp closer to Parade Grounds, map your route and take pics of spots that are impacted denoting where on map it is. You can post pics at the Sehgahunda group page with the locale so the park has a spot to review images. They just need to know where issues are. Perhaps this holiday weekend it can give you a way to get outside and help the park. Thanks in advance.
