Come see what Mr. Mark has set up today. Toddler Open Gym is BACK!

A new program period means the return of one of our favorite weekday traditions at the Chili Community Center.

Weekdays from 9:00–11:00 AM, Mr. Mark has kids ages 5 and under wide-eyed and ready to play as they walk into a new gym setup each day!

Toddler Open Gym offers two hours of unstructured gross motor free play — giving little ones the chance to move, explore, socialize and burn off some energy at their own pace.

Toddler Open Gym is FREE for Chili Community Center members.

CALLING ALL LOCAL FARMERS!

This year, Chili Recreation is giving our annual Fall Fun Day an even bigger purpose:

Together, let’s celebrate our local farmers and the fruits of their labor.

Saturday, September 26
11:30 AM–2:30 PM
Davis Park | 541 Chestnut Ridge Road

We’re inviting farms from Chili and the surrounding communities to join us and have a presence at this free community event.

Farmers are welcome to:
• Sell locally grown or produced goods
• Bring animals or educational displays
• Offer demonstrations or activities
• Promote your farm, farm stand, CSA or business
• Simply set up and tell your story

There is no vendor fee.

Our goal is to give the community a chance to meet the people behind our local farms, learn more about what they grow, raise or produce, and discover new ways to support local agriculture.

Fall Fun Day will also feature:

• Schutt’s Donut Truck
• Crews Grill
• Live music from Dave Turner
• Wagon rides from the Chili Parks Department
• Inflatable Corn Maze
• Inflatable Pumpkin Toss
• Pony rides
• Co****le and yard games
• More family activities throughout the afternoon

FINAL WEEK: HELP US LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD!

We’re heading into the final week of our August ChiliCares Drive supporting Leveling the Playing Field!

Now through August 31, we’re collecting new and gently used sports equipment to help give more kids access to the sports and recreation opportunities they deserve.

Have equipment sitting in the garage, basement, or closet that still has plenty of game left in it? This is a great opportunity to put it back into play!

Donations can be dropped off at the Chili Community Center through August 31.

From balls and bats to gloves, cleats, sticks, pads, racquets and more, every donation can help another child get in the game.

Help us finish the month strong and continue showing what happens when our community comes together to give back.

CR FLAG FOOTBALL IS BACK!

For more than 20 seasons, CR Flag Football has brought a high-energy, backyard football experience to our community, and another season is officially underway!

Week 1 kicked off with more than 300 players from grades K–12 hitting the fields, competing with friends, making plays, and starting another fall of football in Chili.

From our youngest players learning the game to our high school athletes still coming back to play under the lights, this league continues to grow because of the players, families, coaches, and community behind it.

The fields are full. The energy is back. And we’re just getting started.

And just like that, summer camp came to an end.

More than 300 campers.
3 camp sites.
50+ staff members.
One unforgettable summer.

We spent the summer making memories, trying new things, laughing a lot, and watching new best friends turn a summer at home into something pretty special.

Last week, we brought everyone together one final time to celebrate an incredible summer and all the people who made it possible.

To our campers, families and amazing staff — thank you for making Summer 2026 one we won’t forget.

Thanks for the memories, Chili. What a summer.

Meditate the stress away 🧘‍♂️✨

Camp gets a little chaotic sometimes… so we’re finding our inner peace. Deep breaths in. Camp stress out (✌️ campers).

Just another day of keeping it calm, cool, and completely under control with (or without) teenagers.
