☀️ What an AWESOME first week of Summer Camp at ! 🥋
Our campers had an incredible week filled with team-building activities, arts & crafts, exciting games, an amazing field trip to Horizon Fun FX, and, of course, lots of great Taekwondo training!
👍 Camp continues this week in Penfield and kicks off in Greece/Irondequoit. Our Taekwondo Summer Camp is open to all school age children—whether they’re experienced martial artists or looking to try something new this summer.

🥋 Our Staff Training theme of the month is balance. Having fun, while teaching discipline. Holding students to high standards, while making everyone feel welcome.

We had a great instructor training session and covered target and board holding, voice tone, belt tying, proper stripe placement, and being able to set up a kicking drill start to finish.

The Staff are all home grown and continue to learn and improve to be role models for all our students. The Leaders Team and Senior Instructors have their next training sessions later in the month. Never Stop Training!

🥋 This year, we’re celebrating 49 years of Master Kim’s Taekwondo in New York!

On July 1, 1977, Senior Grandmaster Sam Jang Kim opened the first school in Schenectady, NY. We’re proud to continue the tradition of quality instruction and character development that began with the very best.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. Here’s to 49 years of excellence—and many more to come!
