Middle Cross Stables We are a full care boarding facility that offers lessons and training and is proud to be home to Cornhusker Pony Club. I ship horses cross country.

We also sell grass and alfalfa hay and have custom haying availability in Lancaster County.

This trip always makes me feel like summer is coming to an end and we are starting to think about all the horses moving south for the winter. I got to drive my friends horses back to AZ last week and this has always been such special trip for me. Some of my favorite people and one of my favorite places... it is good for my soul to come to Arizona. Always a little bittersweet to head back home. We will be heading back next week to finish up the move and I just cant wait! So thankful for these wonderful horses to bring so many amazing people in my life 💜🌵🥰

We got a really good start on the jump field this week... minus the evil bees 💀🐝 All of the jump standards and coops are set up, and I mowed around all of the permanent jumps in the front field after eric got round bales made. Now all we have left is a little w**d eating and to move jump poles around! Stay tuned for the final result! Can't wait to try out the course!

And thats how its done folks! These tire feeders and slow feed nets have been an absolute game changer for us this year. Love when things come together and work so well! And love having our little helper ride along!

Love when the bale yard is full and organized for the winter. Eric has done an amazing job being solo most of the summer getting all of this hay made for our horses. So incredibly thankful

We were just trying to set jumps up out in the cross country field last night but these bumble bees had to ruin our fun! 💀🐝

We had been working out here for an hour and then Elizabeth Robinett picked up the wrong standard and probably 100 bees came out of the ground and completely swarmed her. Im so glad she only got stung once.... im also sad I didnt capture the entire thing. Im jumping around yelling "RUN RUN RUN!" Shes zig zag running and thinks she got far enough away, but i can see they're still coming after her. TC was driving the golf cart so I yelled, "Go get her!" So he was the real MVP and drove the golf cart over, Liz jumped on, and they drive clear to the other end of the field to get away from the little buzzing A*holes!

Now im not super interested in moving the rest of the jumps. 😬 what do we do!!??

Well that doesn't look like hay does it!?!
Eric is on the move again and got this Sudan grass cut earlier this week. He's running to another field to get some alfalfa put up later today. It doesn't feel like hay season is winding down any time soon!
