Event 93 (2026.08.29)
Happy first parkrun to Aeneis, Natasha, and Jennifer; second to Joe, and 40th to Jen! Joe PB'd in his first ever chance to, and Gerardo did so for the second time in three weeks.
With August's parkruns in the books, we can report that 7 people attended all 5 Saturdays here at RyBo: Jamie, Alex G, Bo, Mauricio, Gerardo, Siobhan, and Rachel. That's consistency!
Thanks to this week's volunteers: Alex P, Rachel, Alex G, Bo, and Jamie. Hoping for some cooler weather soon, and see you at parkrun again in September(!), same time, same place.

Event 92 (2026.08.22)
For the third straight week, there were milestones to celebrate at RyBo parkrun... and this week there were three! Three cheers for Ernesto's 25th finish, Alex G's 50th finish, and Rachel's 100th volunteer occasion! And another RyBo regular is on 24 finishes now, so we may make it four straight next week...!
Congrats as well to Rachel, Hector, William, and Enzo for recording PBs yesterday; to Mauricio, for his birthday; and a welcome to Joseph, who did his first parkrun ever.
Toby and Verity ran the 3rd-fastest male and 10th-fastest female times across all parkruns in the US yesterday. Toby's time became our new course record, the first sub-17 time recorded here, and Verity's was the second-fastest women's time.
Thanks to this week's volunteers: Liz, Siobhan, Jamie, Alex G, Rachel, and Alex P. If you're ever interested in what you can do at parkrun, please don't hesitate to ask. Even if you still want to walk/run, or even if you can't stay until the end, there are lots of ways to help out! (and it's a great gateway to get non-running friends and family involved too!)

Event 90 (2026.08.08)
What's the latest from RyBo parkrun? We had some snacks to send off the Mackay family for the summer, welcomed back some familiar faces who'd been away for a few weeks, and had a few milestones (both official and unofficial) to celebrate.
On that note, happy first parkrun to Angel, 10th to Hector and Estefany, 25th to Siobhan, and 40th to Andrew! Congrats as well to today's PB earners, Ben, James, Evan, Garja, Jim, and William. No PB yet, but a special honorable mention to Carlos, who somehow managed to exactly tie his PB for the 3rd time today.
A reminder that August is a 5 Saturday month, and therefore a 5 parkrun month. With 2/5 Saturdays gone, there are 16(!) people still in the running to complete the full set. Stay tuned!
Thanks to today's volunteer crew: Alex P, Rachel, Jamie, David, Alex G, and Andrew. There's no parkrun without volunteers, and we're always thankful to everyone who jumps in to help, in both big and small ways! With that, see you next week... same time, same place!

Event 89 (2026.08.01)
Happy August! Yesterday we helped contributed to a new US parkrun attendance record, featuring 7 people doing their first-ever parkruns: welcome to Samuel, David, Aruna, Landon, Pamela, Blake, and Caitlyn. 3 parkrunners also set new PBs: congrats to Millar, Nate, and Ravi.
No milestones on hand, but we now have several people just 1 or 2 parkruns away... keep your eyes peeled for the debut of our new milestone photo cards very soon!
Thanks again to this week's volunteers (Alex P, Rachel, Val, Jamie, Alex G, and Millar). We hear lots of local schools have their first days of the year coming up this week, so good luck to all kids and parents, and hope to see you at parkrun on Saturday!

Congrats to Ernesto and Hector on their PBs, and to Gerardo for completing his 10th parkrun!
Thanks to last week's volunteer crew of Alex P, Rachel, Jamie, Murray, Jen, and Alex G, and we'll see you next week, same time, same place!

Event 87 (2026.07.18)
You may have noticed there was a big sporting event this weekend? Yesterday's parkrun crew voted on the winner and the result was pretty split, but we hope that regardless of allegiance, everyone enjoyed watching the games this weekend!
Meanwhile in parkrun news, welcome to our first-time parkrunners: James, Daniel R (both jr and sr), Sarankumar, Mireya, Rogelio, Manimekalai, and Sherika; and congrats to those who reached milestones, both official and unofficial: Lehigh and Sally with 10 parkrun finishes each, Bo with her 30th, and Amitava with his 80th.
Sally and Ravi recorded yesterday's two PBs, the 400th and 401st PBs ever recorded at our parkrun!
This weekend's volunteer crew consisted of Alex P, Don, Alex G, Val, Jamie, Jen, Thomas, and Rachel. Thanks as always to the volunteers who make parkrun possible, and see you next week, same time, same place!

Event 86 (2026.07.11)
We have a new women's course record... though not a new women's course record holder! Katherine held the record for 41 weeks, had it taken last August, then returned to retake her crown yesterday.
Her time was not only 24 seconds below the previous record, it was the second-fastest time run by any woman at any parkrun in the US yesterday!
It was also an amazing 1 minute and 35 seconds faster than her original record, making her one of five people who PB'd yesterday. Congrats again to Katherine, as well as to Ivan, Estefany, Hector, and Andrew C for their PBs.
Andrew's finish was his 2nd -- welcome back! We're glad you enjoyed the first go-round enough to join us again. We also saw Cristal's 20th finish and Leon's 25th.
Thanks as always to the volunteers who make parkrun possible; this week's crew was Rachel, Pat, Alex P, Jamie, Lehigh, Liz, and Alex G. If you're reading this, you know where we'll be next Saturday... same time, same place!

Event 85 (2026.07.04)
Happy 4th of July to all! We had cookies (thanks Jamie!) and a great sunny Saturday morning to celebrate the country's 250th milestone today.
In the round number milestone category, we had Rebeca's 10th, Terry's 20th, Alex K's 30th, and Jamie's 60th to celebrate, and in the official milestone category, Tim H, who has done most of his parkruns at Nidda parkrun in Frankfurt, completed his purple shirt 25th.
On the PB sheet today were Bobby, Ernesto, Denise, Yvonne, and Amy. Congrats!
And finally, as always, thanks to this week's volunteers: Alex P, Rachel, Alex G, Jamie, and Liz. Summer's a great time to parkrun from the comfort of the shade, let us know if you want to help out and hang out! That's all for now; see you next week, same time, same place!

Event 84 (2026.06.27)
This Saturday we celebrated Lisamarie's 50th parkrun finish, as well as the 2000th overall for our event. All 50 of Lisamarie's parkruns have been in SoCal (49 with us, and 1 at ), making her the 4th person ever to hit a SoCal 50!
Over 300 of our 2020 total finishes have been from parkrun first timers, and Andrew C joined that exclusive group yesterday. Welcome, and hope to see you again soon!
PBs were had by Nathaniel, Bobby (whose finish was the 2000th!), Nate, and William. Congrats to all.
This week's volunteers were led by Liz, and included Cristal, Bo, Jen, Zara, Jamie, and Alex G. Thanks as always to our volunteers for making parkrun possible, and we'll see you all next week to celebrate a different 250th milestone... same time, same place!
