During the ANGF conference, we challenged our dancers to step outside of their comfort zone and make a new friend. Their goal was to learn their new friend’s name, what group they were from, and how long they had been dancing.
It was a fun way to encourage connections outside of BFDR and remind our dancers that they are part of a much larger folklórico family. ❤️

Yesterday was truly a memorable night as we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Ballet Folklórico de Riverside. Reaching this milestone is something very few organizations can say they have accomplished, and it is a testament to the vision, dedication, and heart of our director, Ana De la Tejera.
For 50 years, Ana has inspired hundreds of dancers, sacrificing countless hours away from her own family to give back to our community and preserve the beauty of our culture. We are forever grateful for everything she has done and continues to do.
It was truly an honor to witness months of hard work come together so beautifully. Everything unfolded perfectly, and the love, passion, and dedication from everyone involved made it an unforgettable evening. Here’s to celebrating 50 incredible years and the many more memories still to come. ❤️💃🏻🎉
