The Riverside Aquettes (RAQ) Swim Club was founded in 1958 to bring high level competitive synchronized swimming to the Inland Empire.
RAQ believes that physical fitness is only a small part of the equation that includes learning to work and play others for the benefit of the group. Self-discipline and personal responsibility are essential to promoting a sense of good sportsmanship that stay with members throughout their lives. Over the decades, many athletes have emerged from their rigorous training with this non-profit team, ready for the demands of college, careers, community, and even the Olympics.

Dreams don’t happen without a village.
Our Artistic Youth Swim team just earned what most athletes only dream of: a ticket to the 2026 Junior Olympic Championships in Ypsilanti, taking place in Michigan, July 1–3.
After an unreal season of grit, hundreds of hours of practice, and zero-quit attitudes, these athletes just locked in their spot as one of the TOP 3 teams in the region. Now the only thing between them and the podium is the cost of getting there.
But we need YOUR help as travel costs add up fast, and no donation is too small.
Every dollar fuels the dream: flights, hotels, meals and the chance to compete on the biggest stage of their lives.

Shannon Kelly Jones is a distinguished artistic swimmer and coach, known for her elite athleticism and creative vision. Her career includes performances in music videos for LL Cool J, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Lady Gaga at Hurst Castle. As head coach of the Riverside AQuettes, Shannon inspires young athletes with a philosophy emphasizing confidence, discipline, teamwork, and joy. She is a respected choreographer, creating innovative routines that showcase her swimmers’ strengths, and led her team to the 2025 California State Games Championship. With a career that bridges competitive excellence and artistic expression, Coach Shannon continues to elevate artistic swimming and inspire the next generation of athletes.
