We grew up around racing but never had the means to get behind the wheel.

Past our prime but better off in life, the mission now is to help young drivers advance by offering opportunities, career advice and fiscal support.

Race, wash, repair, repeat for round 2.

Round 1 of the 2026 SCDK season was a mixed bag for Destiny Racing dirt karts with JJ Ercse pulling out a classic hat trick in KT100 winning both heats and an exciting main event. The Kid on the other hand struggled with handling from hot laps onwards making big setup changes between every session but never finding the comfort zone. The night with DNF in the main due to a broken header pipe.

Huge thanks to Sam Gentry for loaning tires and busting knuckles during my setup scramble. Atta boy to Mike Callahan for being part of the team and helping keep the Kid cool during the struggle. And congratulations to Rodney Argo for a sweep of thee SBO class for the night.

Team Destiny finally put together the double podium we've been shooting for since The Kid rejoined the LO206 Masters category again mid-season 2023. Or I should say, The Kid finally carried his weight and climbed to the podium to join The Legend #29 Sean Fite. After skipping Saturday qualifying to celebrate the wife's birthday The Kid started at the back of the heat race and worked up to a P4 finish while The Legend claimed his 3rd pole of the season and won the heat in another tight 4-kart race. The main was another spirited battle with The Kid passing defending champion Jose de Silva with 2 to go for P3 and The Legend passing Matt Steele for P1 on finale lap. Hopefully Team Destiny Racing can crowd the podium a few more times this 2024 Tri-C Karters racing season.

The Tri-C Karters 2023 season round 3 is in the books and The Legend Sean Fite was in the thick of it all day. It was a 3 horse race in pre-main and main event between S-
Squared drivers Jose de Silva and Lukas and our Destiny Racing hot shoe.

We got a special treat during Friday and Saturday practice plus race day Sunday with the nearby March AFB airshow. Some aircraft buzzed the Apex crowd at low altitude banks where you could literally see the pilot in the cockpit. ABSOLUTELY AWSOME.

The Kid was parked again but working hard to get back in the seat soon.

On to round 4 in May back at Apex.
