"I saw the update, and I wanted to reach out and personally thank you for everything you’ve built. I know the work that goes into those programs—the tired mornings and the tired afternoons where you gave everything you had to make sure these kids had a place to grow. Most people don't see that level of sacrifice, but I do, and I respect it.
You’ve provided an elite outlet for our youth and a safe haven for them to build character. Looking back to when 2020 hit, you were the leaders who stepped up first to bring us back together. You literally stacked that gym until there was no space left, and it was exactly what we needed. It was a statement that we weren't going to live in fear as long as we were standing side-by-side for the sake of the game and one another.
On top of everything else, creating an outlet like the Mad Katz takes a massive amount of extra time and energy. I know that kind of travel commitment drains the fuel tank, but it is exactly that kind of community-based dedication that changes these kids' lives.
It says a lot about your character and your valor that even as you transition, you’re going out of your way to ensure these other sports continue for the community. That’s what real leadership looks like—protecting the mission even when you’re shifting your focus.
I’m grateful for the impact you’ve had on our families across all these sports. I'm excited to see you dominate with flag football, and I just wanted to make sure you knew that the standard you set hasn't gone unnoticed. Thank you for the culture you’ve built here.
