More weeks of camp = more swimming, creating, exploring, friendships and FUN! ☀️💙

Our Voices Together inclusive summer camp grew to four weeks this summer, giving even more neurodivergent campers opportunities to make friends, try new things and build confidence—all while enjoying what summer camp is supposed to be: a whole lot of fun.

A big thank-you to KOVAR for helping make these experiences possible through its generous grant support, and to our incredible staff, teen peer mentors, specialists and community partners who help create a place where every camper can belong and thrive.

Because summer camp is better when everyone belongs. 💙

🎂 Someone has a pretty big birthday tomorrow…

Tomorrow, Marcus Weinstein turns 100! 🎉

For decades, Marcus and Carole have helped shape the Weinstein JCC through their extraordinary generosity, leadership and belief in the power of community. But perhaps Marcus’ greatest gift has been his example—that everyone can find a meaningful way, big or small, to give back.

As the Center that proudly bears their names prepares to celebrate its own 80th anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better milestone to celebrate first.

Please join the entire Weinstein JCC community in wishing Marcus an early Happy 100th Birthday! 💙🎈

Here’s to a century of making a difference—and inspiring others to do the same.

Today, the Weinstein JCC was proud to join our colleagues from the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, and the Richmond Jewish Foundation for a joint staff meeting centered on collaboration, connection, and community.

We enjoyed updates from our respective CEOs, shared a delicious lunch prepared by Nancy, learned from engaging presentations by Melanie Fine and Leslie McGuigan, and rolled up our sleeves for small-group discussions on how we can work together to better serve our community and advance our shared mission.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a meaningful afternoon. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership in the months ahead. 💙

For nearly 80 years, the Weinstein JCC has been more than a place to take a class, see a show, or swim a lap. It's where confidence is built, friendships begin, traditions are shared, and community comes to life.

Thank you to Jewish Community Federation of Richmond's Reflector for helping tell the stories behind our community and highlighting what's ahead this fall.
