Coaching has to matter, at some point. These performances that I’ve been witnessing, unacceptable! The industry is so cutthroat that you can’t afford to make mistakes, or not know what you’re doing. As a scout, I feel for the kids. They do exactly what their coaches ask of them.

The way QBs are being evaluated, needs a major revamp. There are some really good QBs being overlooked because of it. The evaluation process never adapted with the game, as the position has constantly evolved.

Anyone can look great when things are going well, and you're in rhythm. The real evaluation happens when you face adversity:

1. How do you respond when there's an interception, or a fumble?

2. Do you encourage your teammates when they make mistakes?

3. When things are out of your control, do you pout, or stay locked in mentally?

4. Most importantly, how do you handle a loss?
