🏆 SOUTHSIDE SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS 🏆

Emporia brought the drama.

Two playoffs. One five-shot statement. One one-shot escape. Four champions earned the hardware at the Southside Senior Championship.

⛳ A Flight — Bo Crooks — 76
Crooks and Tim Middleton both finished at 76, sending A Flight to a playoff. Crooks came through in extra golf to take the title.

⛳ B Flight — David Sigers — 76
Sigers turned in one of the rounds of the day with two birdies and an eagle, cruising to a five-shot victory.

⛳ C Flight — AJ Bossard — 89
Bossard and Rolf Granger matched at 89 after 18 holes. Bossard won the playoff to claim the C Flight championship.

⛳ D Flight — Al Rodgers — 91
Rodgers held off Michael Jordan by one shot to finish the job in D Flight.

💰 Total Flight Prize Payout: $700

🏆 VIRGINIA SENIOR TOUR CHAMPIONS AT MEADOWBROOK 🏆

Five flights. Five champions. Five different ways to get it done.

The Virginia Senior Amateur Tour took on Meadowbrook Country Club Monday, and the leaderboard stayed tight all afternoon.

Congratulations to our Meadowbrook Invitational champions:

🏆 Champ Flight — Garry Sutterfield — 77
🏆 A Flight — Tim Middleton — 79
🏆 B Flight — Mike Jones — 78
🏆 C Flight — Goose Donahue — 83
🏆 D Flight — Laurens Platteel — 90

Garry Sutterfield set the pace with the low Senior Tour round of the day at 77. Tim Middleton and Mike Jones each survived one-shot battles, Goose Donahue created just enough separation in C Flight, and Laurens Platteel held off the chase in D Flight.

Four of the five Senior Tour championships were decided by three shots or fewer.

🏆 THE CLASSIC AT MATTAPONI SPRINGS IS IN THE BOOKS! 🏆

The Virginia Senior Tour made its stop at The Golf Club at Mattaponi Springs on Wednesday, and every flight had a story to tell.

🔥 A Flight: Ron Sullins fired the round of the day with a 74 to win by one.

💪 B Flight: Michael Adams posted a strong 77 and held off a deep field to take the title.

🎉 C Flight: Ralph Perkins broke through with an 80 for his first Virginia Senior Tour victory, finishing three shots clear of Mike Strickland.

⛳ D Flight: Arthur Baxter carded a 90 and survived a one-shot finish with three players right behind him at 91.

🏆 Champ Flight: Garry Sutterfield took home the trophy with a 93.

Several money positions came down to scorecard tiebreakers, making it a competitive day from top to bottom.
