Coach Amaury holds a 7th Degree Red & Black Coral Belt — one of the highest and rarest ranks in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A coral belt represents more than 30 years of dedication to the art at black belt, along with a lifetime of teaching, contributing to, and advancing BJJ.
To put that into perspective, there are fewer than 60 people in the world who hold this prestigious rank. 🥋🏆

A proud moment for our Mezger Martial Arts family. 🥋
Earlier this month, our students and coaches stepped onto the mats at the IBJJF Dallas Open and gave it everything they had.
We’re so proud of all of our students who competed and had the courage to step out there, challenge themselves, and represent our team. Competition can be tough, but every experience on the mats is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become better.
To every student who competed — we see the hard work, dedication, and heart you put into your training. Keep showing up, keep pushing yourself, and keep believing in the process.
We’re excited for all the changes and growth coming to the BJJ side of the Mezger Martial Arts program, and we can’t wait to see even more of our students step onto the mats and represent our team at the next competition.
