The 2026 Clash of the Paddles Pickleball Tournament is a wrap! Despite some sprinkles on Saturday and a brisk breeze on Sunday, everything came together, and great fun was had by all. A big THANKS to all the players for your commitment to competitive yet friendly play. Please know that your support for the YMCA and Rhinelander Pickleball is truly appreciated.

Tournaments like this take a dedicated team to pull off. All of the Tournament Committee members and on-site volunteers worked hard to create an inviting environment for players and spectators alike.

🏓 Clash of the Paddles Tournament!

Excitement is building as Clash of the Paddles comes this weekend to Rhinelander's Pioneer Park! Come watch players from across the region compete in a fun, fast-paced pickleball tournament.

👀 Spectators welcome!
Whether you're a dedicated pickleball fan or just curious about the sport, you're encouraged to stop by and enjoy the action. Free admission for spectators.
✅ Play begins at 9 am on both Saturday and Sunday and extends into mid-afternoon.
✅ In the event of rain/wet courts, play will move indoors to the nearby Hodag Dome (location updates will be posted here on our page as well as on TeamReach).
✅ Pioneer Park courts are closed to public play for the duration of the tournament.

Come support the athletes and enjoy one of the area's premier pickleball events!

Take note of changes coming:

Over the past 5 years of the Hodag Dome's existence, we've celebrated many successes and learned from our experiences along the way. Change is part of every organization, and we wanted to notify you of a few upcoming policy changes that will take effect beginning on Sept. 1.

▪️ All adults utilizing the Hodag Dome for community walking, open turf, pickleball, tennis, batting cage use, or golf simulator use will need to have a membership or a daily guest pass. Children 18 and under remain free, and tours are always offered at no charge.

▪️The rate for a resident annual membership is being raised to $20/yr. The non-resident rate is $40/yr.

▪️Price adjustments were made for reservable spaces (see table below)

▪️Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the scheduled Dome opening to ensure that our guests have time to check in and get to their reserved spaces.

We appreciate all of you being part of our growth and helping us learn along the way. We are so looking forward to welcoming you all back next week and many more fun Dome days ahead!
