We kickoff our fall campaign this Saturday against the KC Northland Rugby Football Club in Kansas City. Kickoff is at 11:00 AM at Hodge Park Rugby Field.

For 43 years, generations of Springfield ruggers have pulled on the navy and green. The next chapter starts now!

Before the comments get spicy 🌶️ — a few VERY important notes about how we built this preseason ranking:

1️⃣ St. Louis Hornets
2️⃣ Springfield Mudpuppies
3️⃣ St. Louis Sunday Morning
4️⃣ Kansas City RFC – Second XV
5️⃣ Northland Fighting C***s
6️⃣ Springfield Celts
7️⃣ Kansas City Blues*
8️⃣ Royal Ramblers*

⚠️ ABOUT THE BLUES:
Kansas City Blues are included because they will compete in D3 matches this season. However, as was the case last season, they are not eligible for the D3 playoffs. Their results can still absolutely impact how we evaluate the weekly power rankings.

⚠️ ABOUT THE RAMBLERS:
Before anybody comes for us… WE KNOW. 😂

Royal Ramblers are a proven D3 powerhouse and have won at this level before. Their #8 preseason position is not a statement about the quality of their club.

They competed in D2 last season and are returning to D3, so without current D3 results to evaluate, we’re starting them at #8 for the purpose of establishing a preseason baseline.

We fully expect the Ramblers to compete — and if they start winning, they’ll climb quickly. 👀📈

And you may notice a few familiar names missing.

The Rowdies, Mercenaries and Columbia Outlaws agreed to compete in D4 this season, so they are not included in the D3 rankings. We hope to see them battling their way back into D3 in the future. 🤝

We'll have a lot of rookies so you'll be in good company.

Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:30 PM starting August 11th.

Come out any time through the season if you miss the first week. You don't have to make it to every training to be on the team. Just join us when you're available.
