Getting started at Pink Llama doesn’t begin with throwing you into a workout and hoping for the best.

It starts with coaching.

First, we do a Fit Check, a free 15-minute phone call to learn about your goals, your experience, and what has made consistency difficult in the past.

Next comes The Plan, a 30-minute in-person visit where we take a closer look at your starting point with a Body Scan and Kinotek movement screen.

Then your coach puts the pieces together and recommends the training path that makes the most sense for you.

Because the goal isn’t just to get you through your first workout.

It’s to help you build something you can actually stick with.

Ready to find your starting point? Book your Fit Check through the link in our bio.

🎉 200 Workouts for Patricia! 🎉

Some people hit snooze… Patricia hits the 6:00 AM class with enough energy to wake up the rest of us. 💪

Patricia joined us just over a year ago following a knee injury and has been the definition of consistency ever since. She’s built incredible strength by pushing herself when it’s time to push, and by being smart enough to dial it back when her body tells her to. That’s exactly how long-term progress is made.

As if 200 workouts weren’t enough, Patricia has also earned Committed Crew status for six consecutive months, showing up at least 12 times every month (although usually it’s way more frequently!).

She’s also the first to encourage the person next to her to grab the heavier dumbbells, cheer on a new member, or make everyone laugh. And if you’re wondering where she gets all that confidence, it might be from having the best manicure in the gym. Her nails are legendary, and somehow they’re almost always perfectly coordinated with whatever energy drink she’s carrying that morning. 💅⚡

Congratulations on 200 workouts, Patricia! Thanks for making our community stronger, more welcoming, and a whole lot more colorful. Here’s to the next 200! 👏🎉

Kathi just completed her 200th workout at Pink Llama Fitness, but the number is almost beside the point.

Kathi was the first group class member at the "old gym" who wasn't already a personal training client. She has been showing up since early 2012, through every life stage: career to retirement, grandkids being born, and all the curveballs in between. And through all of it, she has always known exactly who she is and what she needed from her time here.

The fitness industry, especially when she started, was loud about selling the performance dream. The message was that everyone should want to climb the biggest mountain, earn the six-pack, and wear their soreness like a badge over the weekend. That was never Kathi. She wanted to be capable in every stage of life. She wanted to travel in retirement and have a body that would let her do it. She wanted to get down on the floor and play with her grandkids and keep up with them as they grew. She wasn't here to push the heaviest sled or wonder how she'd wash her hair the next morning. She wanted fitness to be a consistent part of her life, not something that took it over.
When it came time to decide what Pink Llama Fitness was going to be, twelve years of working with Kathi had a lot to do with that. She never came in to compete or set records, but she came in consistently and with intention. The results spoke for themselves. She has been able to thrive in every part of life she cared about, and when the unexpected showed up, as it always does, she had a body that could handle it.

If you have ever heard me talk about what Pink Llama Fitness is and who we are here for, you have heard me talk about Kathi.
Big weight loss, strength PRs, and podium finishes are all worth celebrating and we do celebrate them here. But they do not overshadow the quiet, consistent work of someone who knew the life they wanted to live and used fitness as the tool to get there.

That is Kathi. Congratulations on 200.

When it comes to results, consistency is the number one thing that matters.

The toughest workout, the most special exercise, the perfectly balanced macros, none of it creates change if it’s done here and there. Showing up consistently is what lets you capitalize on the effort you’re putting in.

That’s why we spotlight consistency at Pink Llama with our Committed Crew. Hit 12+ classes in a month and you’ve earned your spot, plus the coveted Committed Crew sticker. A unique design for each month, only available that month.
We just wrapped our first full year of the Committed Crew, and we’re kicking off year two with one of our best designs yet.

I was talking with my 4 year old recently about the Tortoise and the Hare, and it hit me how perfectly that story sums up the two paths people take in fitness. Some chase quick change, sprinting ahead and then taking a nap (aka burning out). Others move forward step by step. No dramatic 30 day transformation, no overhauling their entire life to become a “fitness person.” Just steady progress.

We all know how the story ends.

The good news? There’s no finish line. The path keeps going. If you’ve been sprinting and napping, you can start today with slow and steady, showing up for yourself in a way that actually fits your life.

If part of that is showing up to class at Pink Llama, you’ll earn a fun little badge each month to prove you’re doing it.
